I'm curious about something. In Rickshaw's final mission, you go up against an Exile whose title is "the Gambler". He gives you a choice ...
"Let's play a game. Give those plans to one of these ladies of luck - one will unseal the door where Amalasunth waits; the other will open the door to your destruction."
Amalasunth is the name of the NPC I'm supposed to interact with to finish the mission, in case you were wondering.
When I first did this mission, I was able to open the door to Amalasunth. So I redid it to see if I could choose the other door. However, I still opened the same door.
I'm curious if anyone has opened the "door to your destruction". The problem is that, dialogue-wise, there's no difference between the two ladies, so it's hard to choose the "other lady" on a redo of the mission. However, both times I did this mission, one of the ladies wore a dress like Persephone's in Reloaded, while the other wore an Asian-style dress (i.e. the dress that the Sisters of Fate wear) and a program launcher. I'm not sure if this is intended or a coincidence.
I'm assuming that you can't actually choose the wrong door since, in the context of the story, it seems to be a one shot deal. I'm not going to complain if this is true, I'm simply curious if the wrong door can be chosen. If no one knows for sure, I guess I could ask Rarebit, who would probably know better than any of us.
