I was thinking about trying Linux on my computer but I'm afraid that my games like Matrix Online or Guild Wars or FEAR won't work. Will they? I was thinking of getting Ubuntu Ultimate since it's the most popular. And sorry for not using the search opition, I just want more up to date answers. Thanks you guys!
Will The Matrix Online Work on Linux?

Short answer: not really
I managed to get it up to the point where it tries to authenticate my account with the following:
Wine (latest version), Ubuntu, IE6 (wine hack install)
I got far enough to get some sort of "unsupported protocol error" after the login.
So unless you really feel like fighting the computer, keep a windows box around for games and such. Linux for most everything else.
Note: You can get WoW working relatively easy with crossover office (which is really just a *supported* version of wine.)
