That is indeed the case, I just keep the original name until the fight is done.

I will request Zion Liaison Soluma to attend the latter fights, if the need arises.

I don't suppouse there would be a way to swap out fighters so Faction members in this round don't have to fight each other...? 

Yeah, I think either of these fights could be split up to keep a faction from eliminating themselves in merely the second round:

The faction replacements that were allowed in Round 1 make it seem like faction pride is a part of the tournament. But if I have to embarass Broin, I guess I can...hehe (he'd probably slaughter me, actually...blasted hackers!)

Unforunately it was always very likely that stages after round 1 will possibly have operatives of the same faction facing each other, this was certainly likely with 2 particular factions. Round 1 was setup so that operatives of the same faction did not face each other, but all rounds after that would have no such restriction.

From the random draw conducted the wildcard operative is:  Zeromark

To state in advance, the quater-finals will be random as well, but you will be able to see which fights follow to their respective semi-finals.

Although, tomorrow (monday) wouldn't have worked anyways. I'm moving tomorrow so I'll be without a connection to the matrix for... a couple days atleast.

My apologies Woodgrain, upon reading the message at the time and seemingly misplacing it, I recalled that you were unable to attend for week and that due to the nature you must have seen the date posted.

I can't undo a already made decision; however if Mercio permits then I can re-arrange your battle as an exception for the latter stages of the week, most likely the same night as the quater-finals. I was aware he couldn't attend after the 1st for a short time.

Mercio, while you are not obligated to accept a re-arrange, if you wish to allow Woodgrain to duel, it can be arranged at a time and date suited for you both, I will state this is only considered because Woodgrain had been in contact, but there is seemingly some confusion into exactly what was being said.

Well, we missed you tonight Drisena. We decided to wait for you until tomorrow to do the Semis, to make sure it was all official. All were present on time; Broin, Me, Dmax, and Mercio.

I suppose we can all just do the semis right before the finals tomorrow and a short break to change loads.
