Woo I was at that event! =D

I'm glad that Ophelea got a good amount of time to spend with Rarebit and witness the effort and dedication put in to each event. It sounds like he did a good job selling the game to her and she gave it a fair shot too, this article is definitely a good thing.

That was a fair article, and while I didn't see eye-to-eye on a few of the observations, I think it was a decently-written observation from the perspective of a player who hasn't seen the game in a while.  Gives a good general overview of some of the current things in-game (events, content, etc.).  I liked the focus that was placed on the Live Events and continuing storyline, as it's one of the best parts of MxO (my opinion, of course).  This would be a good read for some perspective players, hopefully a few will come over to our crazy world after reading it!  Thanks Raijinn!

Oh, BTW, the link is a tad broken, needs to be http://thematrixonline.station.sony.com/players/news_archive.vm?id=393&month=current instead of http://thematrixonlinestation.sony.com/players/news_archive.vm?id=393&month=current (just missing the one 'dot' in there).  SMILEY

It was a really nice article. Like LotekGhost said, focusing on what defines MXO on the market: Rarebit, live events and the storyline. I don't know what's the reach of this website but I hope many will read it!

That was, I think, the most unbiased review I've ever read.

Quick! Everyone give out the link!

I was at this event, if you look through the window on the left, the door it open, that was me ^^

I dived in there to escape HostileIntention.

And it is cool to get some recognition in the gaming world, now we have to make sure as many people as possible see this SMILEY

It was a very good read. Still bothers me though, that its only Rarebit running these Live events. I know he is one of the most talented and versatile DEV's in the business, but just imagine, 2 maybe 4 more dedicated individuals such as Rare. ImaGINE the possibilitys.

((LOL, im finally an Enlightened Mind)) 500 posts! woot.

God im bored.

I'll always wish there were more people on the development side, but I wouldn't ever trade the ones we have.

Good stuffs, nice and unbiased, really focused on what makes us great.

Just wish these sorta things came along more often and as part of some sort of grander marketing scheme.

Oh well, every little helps. SMILEY

Nice Article, thanks Rarebit  !
#36300245299 05/25/2007 12:00:45 Re:MxO Feature on GamersInfo.net
While the writing was a little spotty, and some of the details were wrong, the article overall was a very positive one. It's nice to see people giving MxO another chance, and for the article to focus on the Live Event aspect was great. If nothing else, more praise for Rarebit is always a good thing. SMILEY

Good read. I like how she included our current content and hinted at things still in the works. The author's interests are perked and that will reflect well on readers. Rare never ceases to amaze me. Not only is he a one man show but apprently he knows how to sell! This man is our MVP.  I agree with the others, it would be great to get more good press like this often.
#36300246347 05/26/2007 21:21:45 Re:MxO Feature on GamersInfo.net

I finally got around to reading this, and that was a really great article.  It's pretty cool to hear what goes on with Rarebit on the other side of the curtain.  It's also pretty impressive that he knows who is who, who is an alt, and who is a genuinely new player... and that he focuses on getting the newer people involved.

All in all, cool stuff.
