Okay, is there more than three people making event logs in this community?

Forgive me for a negative thread, but tonight's farce has left me in a bit of a sour mood, and it's pretty much my own fault anyway, so this isn't an attack on anyone.

Tonight wasn't a good time for me.  You'll understand this more when you see the event post tomorrow.  But basically, I never got to catch any of Fullstream's dialogue or her details before she was killed by a Twin, and I didn't get any dialogue from the Twin either.

Then I was caught in a situation where I could either catch the liaisons' dialogue or Veil's dialogue, but not both.  Though I easily could have missed a spot where both were possible.

I just have to ask: am I one of the few people who actual bothers to make transcripts of these events so we're not stuck with a live event post full of holes?  I'd probably feel better knowing that there were more people out there, because it really sucks to think that there will be nothing better than the incomplete transcripts I make. -_-

I always make a point to make a chatlog of any events, but it seems that what I log is what winds up in the event post anyway. If I ever find something that got omitted, I'll send you a copy.

If you have any transcripts that contain dialogue that are not present in the logs already on my site, I'll gladly accept those as well.  I have a few transcripts that I'm not happy with.  This one is the worst of the bunch. -_-

It's all right, it's all right.  I plan to keep maintaining and updating the site for the rest of my life, and the future is full of possibilities.  You never know who might send in a transcript and when.

And call me silly, but you never know what possibilities technology could bring.  I like Ray Kurzweil prediction in "The Age of Spiritual Machines" (which the Wachowskis have read, according to Will Smith) of neural implants that would improve memory.  Even the slightess memory would become as clear as if it was happening now.  I could certain use that to make my own transcripts of stuff I didn't log. SMILEY  So could everyone.  It's a long shot, but it's just an interesting example of how the future may help in this case.

If you want to, you could add "LogChatOnStartup = 1" to useropts.  This is what I use these days.

Hmm... there's one thing that would work, but I want to clear it with the other participants before I send you a log.

Oh, and while not a log per se, here's the original version of the speech I wrote for this event - it's a bit different than what was actually said by the General.

Oh, I understand if people have reservations about sending in logs.

Yeah, I've seen that.  SIMLO's blog has links to that and the speeches that didn't get chosen.
