I've always wondered why they made him look old.
Hmm...maybe another sky like LAST time?

I think it was a marking thing in that KFC sold the likeness of the Cornal to WB so now every time I see the Architect I crave chiken.
I wonder why the Architect dismissed Pace only...
It doesn't look good for Pace nowadays, she's been acting very odd, and the moment she piped up the Architect dismissed her.
Hopefully this idea of hers will get her back in the good graces of her superior
Poor Pace, well if the Machine's don't want her anymore, I hear us Cypherites are in need of a new program in our ranks, she will be a welcome addition!

(( I for one am *CENSORED* GLAD noone found them, me loves the cinematic quality of uninterupted live event story character goodness every once in a while (remember teh seraph/oracle talkage post?) Especially in key/cool points/encounters such as this too =D ))
((I wholeheartedly agree. It's much more impacting to read an unfiltered log of discussion, rather than having to wade through countless lines of irrelevant, childish area chat/system log spam.
More of these 'insights' please, sometimes you don't need players around you to validate the discussion.))

Good nice post. Atmosphere. More of that please.

((Yeah, if we had a few more of these it'd be fantastic.
Nice work Rare.))

In computing, the kernel is the central component of most computer operating systems (OSs). Its responsibilities include managing the system's resources and the communication between hardware and software components. As a basic component of an operating system, a kernel provides the lowest-level abstraction layer for the resources (especially memory, processors and I/O devices) that applications must control to perform their function. It typically makes these facilities available to application processes through inter-process communication mechanisms and system calls.
I don't know what to take on this Pace dismissal. It's hard to get a grasp as to why. Was it because of recent events, or is the Architect already very certain about what he will do about The CYPH.
TH
Why does everyone assume that she was dismissed because the idea sucked or that the Architect didn't listen to her.
It's clear that it was foreshadowing and that the implication is that she in fact, told him, but we're not meant to know yet. Don't forget, they are all part of the same system, they don't necessarily need to speak vocally to communicate. That's just for appearance's sake.

1. No one finds out what else happened
2. No one should know about it anyway either...
3. It's bad enough that no one finds it, but when it's someone we probably won't hear from for another year or so...

2. Well how can you expect the storyline to progress if no one knows about it?
3. The Architect is often in these sort of events with little people and very rare, it makes sence him being the big cheese and all
Great post Rare really sexy, The pace thing seems to me that he understood what she wanted to do or was just going let her do that and wanted to end the dicussion I dont think it was speciffic to her it didnt look that way to me because he was on his own afterwards))
But otherwise, let's pretend that it wasn't actually Gray that made this information available.(( When it comes to finding things out on the forums, I give them a little liniency. I imagine that everything gets leaked eventually, so these threads form from these leaks. In this case, there would have been someone spying on the trio. It was posted by Gray, sure; if we take that for read, I agree that it's a continuity error and Rarebit should explain himself. You're right. It wasn't gray. It was the Architect himself >.>But otherwise, let's pretend that it wasn't actually Gray that made this information available.
The true nature of these forums within the Matrix universe is open to interpretation anyway. ))
I actually like this event a lot and that no one stumbled across it. Usually when people come upon these things they ask stupid questions, like "Whats up rare?" Even if I myself had stumbled upon this I don't think I would've said anything. Either way, this peaks my interest, I'll be watching Machine reports closely...Well, none of the stupid stuff, but none of the event either...

Once in a while can be nice i suppose, though when live events are pretty much the content for some people this type of thing would be best left in small doses.

((tbh this kind of event recap is not actually an event recap, this was more like another cinematic for our viewing pleasure so we can know what is going on so when a real live event occurs people are prepared to RP and not be lost in translation.
It was just an event where no one happened to find it. Which is kind of sad because of the people involved and (apparently) the masses of people in /who range.
If you wanna argue your case then technically they would also have to stop the Cinimatics too as they show things that certain orgs should not see etc, you can not follow a story or be involved in a story without knowing the plot, that is a known fact.
Well, having it posted everywhere prevents the story from progressing naturally. All you have to do is ask someone who knows. If there wasn't a report it's because there were no witnesses, or there wasn't supposed to be anyway. We didn't have this forum originally, you know?
Trust me, I've followed the story without knowing the plot several times this week.
I would very much rather have intel leaked on DN1 forums for the community to see so that the community know how to react than to have it all a secret so that players go "errr since when did that happen? last I checked that person was still alive, how did they die?")
I'd rather they not make "secrets" if it's going to be posted all over the board the next day.

There are no secrets, everyone has alts on each org or knows someone who does and they tell the other orgs and so on and so on.
