hey i have this idea that i thought might be kewl. but i was wondering what others thought about it.

Say we have a Fashion Week in the Matrix this year? i know Fashion Week is in february but we can still do one in a month or 2

start it of on a Sunday with a fun little fashion show that i can organize, and promote the marketplace, many people and many factions all flooding the marketplace with a huge variety of clothes for the entire week at affordable prices. Monday can be a Blues Brothers Party hosted by The Glitch Society or Tetragrammaton that hand out blues brothers suits for free. Tuesday Tankini Night with the Vixens, and more all the way upto a big party and fashion show hosted by multiple factions on Sat!

So far i'm very pleased with everyone wanting to help out and feel that this could be a good idea to improve our marketplace. What a wonderfull comunity! SMILEY

this is what i got so far...

Sometime in middle to late JUNE:

Catzi's Summer Fashion Show on Sunday to kick it off.
Blues Brothers Party with free suits
Tankini Tuesday with free tankinis
free Jane-Duster HighCollars (dracula looking trenches) goth dresses and enhanced stakes at Sanctuary (wed night)
Neonight with free machello and triga trenches and maybe a Neo Frag for a door prize.
Combat Night with tournaments and Enhanced combat gear (free handouts and as prizes)
Asian Bathhouse Party with free Gi's and Tunics handed out at the front door (something we did in New Dawn last fall that was neat)
Free Beauty Makeover Friday
Big Fashion Show on Saturday with all willling factions modeling thier outfits

ok so thats atleast 9 choices so far to cram into 1 week.

What else can we do? any more ideas? shuld we do 2 events each day, one in morning/afternoon and one evening/night so we can accomadete the entire world?

Yes, an idea to improve the marketplace. How often do you use the marketplace and either you can't find what your looking for, everythings way overpriced, or you just see the same stuff? Not to mention not everyone uses these forums to find or sell stuff and we can do some things to help buy/sell/trade/find stuff. This thread will continue on to the Events section once we decide how to go about it.
