The Twins can be useful when given a clear target. They refuse to trust anyone aside from the Merovingian, which is just as well, since it means that I can keep my interaction with them to a minimum; I find that I tire of the constant echo.

Flood not being very involved in the operation and it is a huge success. I'd wager he's still trying to take credit for it.

pretty much says it all - substitute Ambriels words for "is that it?!?" and that seems to sum up the first merv syntax event in over a month. i'm not one to dig at live events, but from a glance at the screenies this really seemed rather random and abitrary - especially disappointing considering how long we've had to wait. "go in building and kill some random NPCs"...meh. in some ways, i'm glad i missed this one - i'd hate to have missed something as good as the last merv syntax event which was awesome.
also, are we still completely without liaisons? because, you know, its kind of stupid that all three are MIA (full credit to Bloodlust for actually thinking to send us a mail in advance to let us know he'd be away....but where the heck are the other two?!)

WOW they have realy gone to town with the twins eh? the ghost effect, the razor blade attacks & animations. i hope i get to see this in person, maybe i should start and work on my other server alts.

((It happened in the afternoon. For the random events not involving the LOs, Rarebit has a tendency to make them at euro-friendly times. Nem contacted me by IM to tell me that something was happening. I was bashing my head on my desk at the idea of missing a (decent) Merv event, something which we haven't got in a long time. ))
