I don't understand why there is a Cryptos 3.  As far as I know everyone else who was overwritten and then 'attacked' by Seraph went back to their original personalities, but apparently Cryptos did not.  Why didn't he, and where did this third personality come from?

Possibly because the degree in which Cryptos was overwritten was difrent then everyone else. Think about it. Cryptos had a direct link to Gray, he was basicly an agent in discuise. Seraph was able to undo the major points in which this program had control but not all of it because of the level of the program that was put in him.

Just a guess anyway.

You could be right, perhaps the extent to which he was overwritten was greater than Seraph's ability to remove it, and so some overwritten parts remain.
I thought it was because he attacked Cryptos right in front of the Cypherites and they ran him off before he was done.
Your talking about the guy that went one on one with Neo and has defeated agents before. I doubt he's afraid of a handful of reds.

You'd be surprised. I'd be rather distracted if I had a knife sticking out of my forehead SMILEY

Well, either way, Seraph walked away after the attack.
We'd have to ask him to be sure though.

Well, his feelings were a little hurt, but otherwise he was fine.

Just wanted to put in that I'm not going to get Tuesday's event thread posted today, 'cause I was too late getting the screenshots sent off for upload. Some sort of curse, maybe, seeing as how the event itself didn't really end up working out as we'd have liked, and there was a lot of hair-pulling all around about it in LESIG afterwards. Le sigh.

Ehh... Hm.

Okay, sneak (in a way) preview:

I responce to the latest LE (4/23), if Seraph is removing the General's programs where he finds them, is it possible that this latest Cryptos has been overwritten by the General and not by the Machines/Agent Gray?

Seraph is (or at least was) looking for Sati, or something like that.
Anyway, Gray isn't shy about what he did to Cryptos.
