Generalizations, and stereotypes, are just what I'd expect from our adversaries right now. It's easy to go for the cheap shot and lump us all into a "Morpheus loony" group. The General is the clear possible culprit here, we do in fact see that. Using Morpheus and Neo to tug at the proverbial heart strings of Zion and EPN to keep his war going sounds right in line with his previous methods. "Morpheus" or not, we need to see this through and get to the bottom of what these signals are, and that's all we are doing.

Amen, and I think NightTrace has a point. Although I don't personally think it's Michael himself doing it, the transmission is becoming redundant and the idea of staying in that state for an extended period of time is rather far-fetched. Also, the fact that he won't say anything regarding his whereabouts can't help but make any of us wonder. Generalizing and prejudice now will keep us fighting, which is exactly what the general wants, regardless of whether this is Captain Morpheus or not.

It is unfortunate that we always have to be lumped together into this one giant group, a group that can never see anything for what it is, a group that is, apparently,  constantly pushing for the war to restart with their actions. If you don't know who EPN is, then maybe you should read through the Manifesto the GamiSB wrote up, and then make some statements that have a little truth to them. If you look back on the post pertaining to the Morpheus transmission, people from EPN and Zion are the most skeptical. Would we enjoy the return or Morpheus, of course we would. But does that mean we would follow him to the end of time no matter what he asks? No. Does it mean that we will blindly believe that anything that appears with the look of Morpheus to be genuine? No. We seek answers, nothing more. Lets all play nice shall we kids? We can all throw threats around but all you're going to get is an inflated ego.

Now in response to the idea of why he won't say where he is, there is only one pro Morpheus answer I have thought of that is that he fears revealing his location in such an open broadcast will reveal him to his enemies, although there is a lot more to suggest it isn't him.

((Seriously though, I agree with you guys here. One idiot goes "OMG MORPHEUS!!! *Repair RSI*" and promises to wage a bloody vendetta against the machines, and suddenly he's the spokesman for EPN. It makes me sick))

The general picked this time exactly as he fights the Machine army at stalingrad to launch a further assault towards the machines, and by trying to advocate more war.  He himself, is a man that lives on  these things, and I do not believe that the Morpheus being 'displayed' in Tabor is the real Morpheus.  Zions, I urge you to stop what your doing.. and think.  Of course it is possible, possible that he could be alive, possible yes.  By following this 'holagram' you are putting everything that so many of us have fought for to keep, the truce, at risk. 

Think logically, do not act untill you see this man in the flesh.  The Stability must be protected.

There is nothing to prove anything other then the fact that something is useing Morpheus' old ship as a means to broadcast an image that looks and sounds like him. That is all.

For a select few............., proof, pics, and propaganda, have meant nothing. Call it "blind" faith if you will. Thats your choice.

But some of us believe what others are afraid to believe. And we are called out on these forums about it. And all the little devils and angels come out. People must trust thier hearts, I know, its a human thing, but its what drives most of what humanity has achieved, and as well failed.

Let's say that really is Morpheus. Does that mean we should do what he says? 

Neo is the one who got us this truce, and, depending on what you believe, either gave his and his love's lives for it, or gave his freedom and his love's life for it.  Does anyone really think he'd want us to nullify the sacrifice he and Trinity made to get him back?  Does anyone really think he'd want us to undo all the good he did?

If Neo really is alive then of course we should try to get him back.  But this is not the way.  If the truce fails then everything he worked for is lost.
