I remember everyone saying hacker was getting nerfed hardcore when people were trying it out, honestly i believe its just as powerful as CR1, probably the most powerful class besides ma for pvp, it destroys mkts, gunman, and can if you keep ma's out of IL, not to mention how the dots just rip people apart, so what's everyones favorite stack of dots?
D.O.T.S

I'm not a huge fan of DOT's, they're good and all but all it takes is one Anti or one Sweep ability and your effectiveness has been cut in half.
The DOT's I use are super secret, no peaking

The most powerful zerg PvP class it is, true. The most powerful gank class is MKT.
D.O.T.S. are really great but it means you need to have time, both time to add DOTS and time to wait till he's dead. If you get unlucky you're faster dead than you can spread enough DOTS and they survive :-/

Disagree with ya there, DOT's are not that over powered, and comparing it to CR1 hacker with the dev feilds doing 1,000+ dmg when in sneak. but the DOT's can be sweeped, and are not a lot of dmg if you have high resitance
yea i see your point
Hacker isnt Overpowered and i wouldnt say it was nerfed either
Dots can Easily Be Cleared by Antibiotics
and Hackers can still kill people in 3-4 Moves
You shouldn't just look at the number of moves, but how long it takes to use them all.
it seriously rips people apart good damage

Yeah but I love when I give lots of DOTs to someone and if he kills me, I still got a chance that hell die after me
ause the DOTs dont disappear if the one who gave it dies... Thats not very good in duels its very annoying that you die after you won the duel and get DE, but I really like DOTs. If i stack DOTs on someone, it still does damage when im powerlessed or stunned. I think a good mixture of debuffs and DOTs are very very cool.

I've set my attributes a little differently than most hackers and scour the game to obtain the blend of damage% and acc% boost. The DoT blends (Ravager/Destroyer) have similar battle tactics to that of an MA using Aikido grandmaster. The goal is not to pound/spam...it is patience. If I can withstand some damage while I am waiting for my stacking tactics to do their thing...then using that loadout is not a good option.
Hacker = Spellcaster.
You have to use the strategy that defeats casters, which means exploiting their weakness. No matter what, IL is the hacker's weakness. Close range and poor defense against MA means that even a seasoned Hacker will have trouble against a good MA. However, the rest comes down to skill. A very good (and the best) Hacker will keep out of IL for as long as possible. If they are smart with attributes, they will be able to finish the MA in IL. If the Hacker in question is fighting a very good (or one of the best) MA's, chances are the MA will win.
You opinion may differ from this, but it doesn't matter. Anything is possible with the random, DPS-based fighting of CR2. Hacker is nowhere near as powerful as it was before. Pre-CR2, anyone could load Hacker and put on a few pieces of VT gear to kill ANYONE in the game, regardless of load. Nobody has the advantage anymore.
Fine-tune your strategies is all I am saying.

One of the things I like about DOTs is their ability to interrupt the cast timers of your target's moves. You can use them to cause havoc with MKT, Snipers etc.
To answer you question (as no-one else did it
): I'm only using DOTS from the ravager tree (infection 4.0, area 2.0, area 1.0, infection 3.0, *use something else cause of re-use time*, infection 2.0, *use something else cause of re-use time*, infection 1.0). Before this I normally try to hit with some downgrades (Vector, Destroy Health, Destroy Resolve).
IMO the Ravager is the most useful tree from all the hacker trees. Good damage attacks and very nice downgrades, all within one tree
