
It's not often a film would compel me to tell everyone I know about it. And it's not often a film makes me feel like crying (ET, Bambi when I was little. Titanic made me well up. Green Street made me well up also cos the ending very nearly happened to my brother and with him looking very similar to the main character, it hit home, hard).
So this film shoots right into my top 3. The performances are outstanding, the story very real and it doesn't pull any punches. It's humourous at times, but this isn't a comedy.
I felt the need to make this as it's a low budget British film, so it obviously doesn't and hasn't received much acclaim or even knowledge it exists. And this film deserves it.
