To be fair, we tried to warn Smith that the vector instance of Mara C wasn't a safe place.
Despite our best hopes, there always exists a chance an inherent virus such as Smith may reinfect the simulation. Perhaps the next version: more powerful, more resistant - even to the arrest of our courage: the very marrow that remains directly responsible for our victory over this version. Perhaps next time, we may face a version of the virus with an even more disturbingly calculating & unemotional evil we cannot yet imagine.
