Corruption Part I

MetaLogic body slams against the support beam in the Sai Kung Dojo. Setunde walks over and helps him up. “You’re getting there Meta, all you need is more work.” They both sat down to catch their breath. With the recent events that’s been happening in the simulation, the revelation that Cryptos and the Cypherite organization was another form of control by the machines, that a Morpheus has been sighting near Mara Central, and that the Smith Virus has once again appear within the simulation. It’s been nice to get some rest and just have a friendly duel with faction mates. Setunde and Meta both get up at the same time. Meta walks away from Setunde and then position his feet. “Let’s roll big guy” challenged Meta. Yes, it was nice to take a break from the hectic world of the simulation.

Kayla walks out from her bedroom. She is wearing an unusual dress, a business suit. She puts on a pair of sunglasses and look around. She takes a sniff of the air and then cough. “God the stench, it’s still here.” She slowly turns her head to David, and glares at him. “Something so fragile should not be alive.” She thought. She slowly walks out of her Condo in Chelsea, and she slowly walks out of the building. She stands in the concrete area in front and looks around. She then eyes a bluepill woman who was going about her business, and stares at her.

MetaLogic slides across the dojo mat and holds up his hand to pause the fight. He kneels down and catches his breath. Just then the Paradox operator comes over his Bluetooth. “Meta, umm, you might want to get down to Chelsea, we have a problem.” The sound of concern in the operator’s voice has Meta concerned. He rushes over to the Hardline and dials in a Chelsea hardline, Setunde follows behind. When they arrive at Chelsea they couldn’t believe their eyes. There, Kayla was attacking random bluepills and screaming at them. MetaLogic runs over and tackles Kayla and pins her to the ground. “What the *CENSORED* is wrong with her?!” exclaimed Setunde. Just then Sororitas and RedAlibi appear on the scene. “Ahh great, just what I need,” thought Meta. “Operator, run a scan on a Bluepill; Kayla Summer,” requested Red. The operator comes back “She got the virus.” Red, Set, Soro, and Meta all look at one another. “Thank you operator,” replied Red.

“So, what do we do,” inquired Set.
“Well we can’t kill her, God knows the EPNs and Zionist will never let us live that down,” stated Set.
“Seraph isn’t in the system, so we can’t count on him to do an exorcism,” commented Soro.
Just then, Meta looks into Kayla green eyes, he knows what he must do.
“Set, Red, hold her.”

Set and Red both look at one another, confused, but decide to restrain Kay. MetaLogic walks away from the group and pulls out a gun. He puts in a single bullet. He then turns around and faces the group.

“The stability of the simulation is more important, we know what we must do,” Meta explained to the group

“Please forgive me Kay,” Meta whispered.

MetaLogic pulls the handgun up and points it at Kayla. He slowly squeezes the trigger. A shot rings out in the plaza in front of the Chelsea Condo complex….

Corruption: Part II

“How’s the virus scan coming along?”
“Almost done, so far it looks good.”
‘How much damage has been done?”
“To her body, she has some pod fluid in her system, but it shouldn’t be lethal, we don’t know about her RSI yet though.”

Red and several doctors programs were examining Kay as she lies in bed at a Cypherite stronghold. Guarding the door was Claud. Dragnflme and Setunde was guarding the entrance onto the floor.

“Wow, how did he know to do that?” asked the doctor.
“Honestly, I don’t think he did, I think he just shot her to protect the system, but apparently the virus only inhabitant a host that it perceives is still conscious.”
“Well she is latterly on life support right now, in here and out there, if we don’t come up with a plan soon, she’s going to die in a matter of hours.”

Red lets out a sigh and then watches the computer as the doctors scan over and work on the RSI.

MetaLogic bust through the opening to the Government Building and walks past the security check point.

“You’re going to need clearance!” One of the guards shouts out.
Meta turns around slowly walks up to him and grabs his throat and pull him close to his face. “You tell that Agent that I am coming up now, and he better have some god *CENSORED* answers!” Meta then shoves the guard away and walks into the elevator.

“The virus is being contained, however it has creeped into the heart of Downtown, on the plus side, the effect of the virus is severely weakened,” Smith Virologist was reporting to Agent Gray, Pace, and North. “Excellence, do you have any idea on when the virus will be completely contained,” ask Pace. “The virus will not be contained until we get rid of the codes that still reside in the simulation, even if we took out every “Smith” in here, the codes will still be there.”

The three agents look at one another and then at the Virologist. Just then the door that was leading to the board room busted up and Meta slams his fist down on the table. The Agents look at him and Gray begun to speak, however, “Don’t even say it Gray, I don’t want to hear it, you *CENSORED* agents know about this already don’t you? We had a deal!” shouted Meta.
“It is unfortunate that the virus has spread to the bluepills, especially downtown, it is not without a degree of control Mr. Summer,” stated Gray.
“All I know is this, is that first you deceived the Cypherite organization and now you are putting our deal in a serious risk!”
“We are trying everything in our power to control the virus, but it will take some time. For every Smith we delete, five more pops up. Operatives from all organization are doing their part in defeating the Smiths; however, some are more than willing to become Smith’s. While the operatives are taking care of the smiths, we are working on a solution to remove the codes from the simulation,” responded the virologist.

Meta looks around at the group, and then he lets out a sigh. “My faction and I will continue to work on Kayla, to see if we can’t get the virus out of her, you *CENSORED* agents better be working your asses off on removing the codes.” Meta takes one last look around and walks out of the room.

As soon as he walks out, he takes a bullet shot in his right shoulder. He turns to his right, there are three Smiths coming after him. He turns to face them and position his feet. He attacks the weakest one, striking devastating blows with his power hits and kicks, and when he staggered, Meta launches himself in mid air. All the sudden everything freezes and he rapidly kicks Smith in the chest, the first one falls. He then back flips to ready himself for the second one, he strikes some fast blows, too fast for the Smith to follow, and he is suddenly daze. Meta sees his chance and strikes at his throat. The Smith chokes on his throat and falls over, but just when Meta begins to strike the finishing blows, the Smith gets back up. Meta delivers powerful blows to the chest and head, and then delivers a roundhouse kick to his head knocking him over.
“You might want to hurry it up there; your health level is getting low,” said the operator over his Bluetooth.
However, Meta did not hear his operator warning. He locks eyes with the last Smith. In what seems like a split mirror, the two men strikes blows after blows to one another, without knocking each other down. Then the Smith left his chest open, Meta punches him hard and he goes flying into a wall of the building.
“Comon Meta, wrap it up, I don’t know how much longer you can hold it!”
Meta sees that this one is also staggered, he launches himself in the air again and once again delivers powerful pistons kicks to his chest which knocks him dead.
Meta rest on the ground catching his breath, “Now what were you saying?” he asked the operator.
“You always like to live on the edge don’t you?”
“Yes I do, why do you think I am a Cypherite?”

Meta walks into the room where Red, Arbuckle, and Sororitas. “So, what’s the word on her?” One of the doctors approach Meta, “We were able to get the virus out, but her RSI has been badly damage. Her only real chance of survival if we insert a program into her, a program that will make her part human and part program.” Meta looks over at Kay, and the heart monitor. “What are the chances of her waking up?”
“She cannot wake up with the program; the program will be the only thing keeping her alive in here and in the real. However, she can become ‘aware’ of the simulation and if that happens, she will still have the same powers and abilities that the redpill has. She’ll just be living in here.”
“So, how do we insert the program?”
“Unfortunately, we’re just simple doctors program, we cannot do it. In order to insert the program, you must go to the two who wrote the first RSIs, Alpha and Beta. They were the first programs to not only take on human appearances, but to also give humans their RSIs.”
“How do we find them?”
“They still reside near the source, in the white halls. As I understand it, the machines have granted you access to these white halls. Go there, and you will find Alpha and Beta.”

Meta looks at Red, and Soro, then back to the doctors. He walks over to Red and looks at him in the eyes. “I’m going to need that key Red.” Red nods and take it out of his pocket and hands it over to Meta. Meta looks around the room once more and then walks out.

((Ok I finally got the last part done.))

Corruption: Part III

MetaLogic stood in the small room, in the back of a coffee house in Union Hill. He looks at the key that is supposed to unlock the door to the White Halls. He could feel the energy and the codes that make up the key. He pushes the key into the door and unlocks it. The door slowly opens in front of him, revealing a row of doors in a white hall. He steps into the hall and the door slam behind him. He slowly walks down the hall looking at every door. “Which one is the right one,” he thought to himself. Just then, he stops at a door. There was something about this one that was different from the rest. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but it was. He slowly turn the knob opening it. A yellow flash overcame him and all the sudden; he was surrounded by natural beauty.

It was a garden, with a river running down the middle. Trees and plants were everywhere, and blue sky was shining above. He hears giggling and laughing. Meta follows the laughter, and there he comes across two individuals, a male and female, dressed in sheepskin. They stopped and look at him. They got up and cleared their throat. Meta takes off his sunglasses and looks at them both. “I’m guessing you two are Alpha and Beta.”
“That we are, I know this must be very strange.” Beta spoke
“Yea it is exactly, not exactly expecting two programs hanging out in here.”
“Eden,” Alpha spoke, “We like to call it Eden.”
“Well, anyways, I need something from you two, there is a bluepill that I am very close to, a wife, and she needs your help. She was infected by the Smith virus, and while we were able to extract the virus, it did leave her RSI very badly damage. One of the doctors told me to seek you two for help, he said you would be able to insert a program inside her.”
“Yes that is true, but why help you, after all, if she is meant to die, then she is meant to die.”
“Yes, but the agents and I had an agreement, they would watch over her, but they failed on their part.”
“Well I’m sorry, but we cannot interfere with the process of life,” stated Alpha.

Beta look at Meta, and then she looks at Alpha, “Honey, maybe we should help, after all, we are the giver of life, we create RSIs for the humans, we’re already interfering with the process of life.”
Alpha looks at Beta, and then groans, he walks over to a clearing, and then a stream of codes swirl around in front of him, and then a package appear. He grabs the package and walks back over to Meta. He looks at Meta and then hands over the package. “Inside is the program that you’ll need to insert into her. Now for whatever reason that you decide to make her ‘aware’, there is a pill, called the Violet Pill. This will make her aware of the simulation, but will not wake her up. To make her unaware, there is the yellow pill, be sure to use these with extreme caution.”
“What about the blue and red pills?”
“The red pill will wake her up, and if that happens, then she will die in her pod. The blue pill will have the same effect as the Yellow Pill.”

Meta looks at Alpha and Beta, and he nods his head to both of them and proceeds out of the construct and into the White Hallways.

Back at the Cypherites stronghold everyone is gathered around Kayla as the doctors begin the procedure. MetaLogic watches her and the monitors, so far everything is normal; he takes in a deep breath and sighs. “Ok, running the program, now,” one of the doctors stated.” All the sudden green codes flashes at random places on Kayla’s body, everyone watches in anticipation. Then, the heart begins to beat faster and the brain activity begins to fluctuate. “Something is wrong.”
“She’s not accepting, she’s not accepting!”

The heart continues to be faster and harder and Kay’s RSI begins to fall apart. Meta and the rest could do nothing as they watch in horror. One of the doctors rapidly enters commands into the computer, trying to halt the procedure. Then, flat line, the doctors rushes the paddles over to the body and begins to try to revive her, but the flat lines continue. Kayla Johnson has ceased all life function. Meta hangs his head and walks out of the room. The doctors look at one another and then at the crew. “It’s done, just take it all down and disassemble the RSI,” Red told the doctors. The doctors unhook Kay’s lifeless RSI from the machines and the body disappears in a cloud of green codes.

MetaLogic stands on the roof of the Metacortex building looking over at Downtown. He takes a black rose from his pocket and looks at it, and then he tears the petals off and let them float into the wind. “At least you have peace now,” thought Meta as he watches the petal float away. Setunde jumps up on the roof and walks to Meta’s side. “You know, it’s funny, when I started working for the machines, it’s because they promised to protect her, and I joined to do the same. But as time went on, I realize that all bluepills need protecting. I’m not going to give up the fight, she wouldn’t want me to, and she’d want me to keep on fighting.” Set put one hand on Meta shoulder and they watch the storm rolls in.  "Maybe, she's still out there, maybe we'll meet again."
