Well, to sum it up, back in July of 2006 I joined the ever growing video upload site known as YouTube.
Creating my own 'Channel' I decided to collect together all the MxO movies i had sitting in my
big ol 'MxO Stuff' folder and make them available to the masses in one collective area.

The project has since grown to include newly released titles, multi-part projects, a collection of
other Matrix Online YouTube favorites (including all the cinematics) as well as a whole selection of MxO playlists.

Now i'm not sure if i should call this a 'fansite' thread or what, since it's not really a fansite... but, it is a cool place
for the community to go, enjoy some awesome videos and just plain hang out. So meh. ^.^

As of 01/08/2008, 15:08pm GMT my YouTube 'stats' are as follows:

Videos Uploaded: 78
Videos Favorited: 180

Be sure to check it out for all the MxO video goodness that you crave, from old classics like Countdown
to modern masterpieces like Intercept or Anamnesis. SMILEY<img src=

Why don't you change the account to an directors account so you can upload large files instead of splitting them? SMILEY

Last time i checked directors are currently also limited by the 10 minute rule. It's only people who were about when they first played about with extending it who still have the priviledge.

That and i'm not technicually the director of any of my videos =P
#36300232012 05/07/2007 11:36:22 Re:SkyJackal's MxO Video Collection™
Can I ask where the full video of The Revenge is?  I have downloaded a few great MxO movies just to keep as some of them are genius work, and the opening shot of The Revenge looks impressive, haven't had the chance to watch it all yet though.
Darkhawk's Gallery | Section 9's Past | Metal Gear?! It's already active?!

How's about this blast from the past. I just found this on my HD and decided to put it up on YouTube because I recall people wanting to find it.

To celebrate the channel hitting over 60 subscribers i've been down in the movie archives, hunting for some classic MxO gold.

And boy did i strike it!

The first piece to be released sees the YouTube Premier of...

cartwynd vs monarche (part1)

- redubbed to -

Neo Vs. Smith Parody!
(link)

This MxO movie of old still captures the other, more easy going, side of The Matrix Online Community perfectly. It takes something as serious as the film's perhaps most iconic confrontation and sure as hell has fun taking the p1ss

Stubbling across this long lost comedy couldnt've come at a better time either as i'm proud to annouce the new
MxO Comedy Playlist that has been added to the already booming selection of playlists found over at The Collection.

#36300243685 05/23/2007 15:27:36 Re:SkyJackal's MxO Video Collection™

I give Skyjackal's MxO Video Collection the Skyscream Studios Stamp of Approval.

*Rip-off of Inqubus's stamp of approval coming soon*

lol.

Okay. Seriously now. I think it's great that Cloud is doing this.

And yes ... only Directors who were directors before um ... january? of 2007 can upload videos longer than ten minutes. Although the file size limit of 100 meg still applies. It seems some folks were seriously abusing the priviledge so they rolled back that option. Fortunately, I'm not one of those people. SMILEY

To celebrate my MxO youtube channel hitting 70 subscribers as well as the upcoming buddy key period i've decided to take a break from my rooting through archives to visit a somewhat forgetten recent work that deserves a revival...

Now Available On YouTube!

Another modern gem this movie combines the simple premise of a music video with the depth of a solid storyline, definately a must see.

Heck, it has to be the first time i saw the /kickdoor animation used in an MxO film so well. Major props for that alone i say SMILEY

Be sure to check this, and much, much more over at SkyJackal's Video CollectionTM !

As a side note, despite recent troubles my work on distributing MxO Buddy Keys continues and to date, through various channels, i have sent a grand total of 214 to potential players and a further 100 to members of the community.

In celebration of MxO film genius, Menoeceus, SkyJackal's Video Collection is now hosting both trailers for his upcoming hit Deimos and is currently featuring the latest on it's front page.

Also, in the days leading up the final release be sure to keep an eye out for his previous multi-part masterpiece, Anamnesis, on both the top videos and featured playlist areas!

Here it is, the moment you've all been waiting for....

After some delay, the YouTube release of the latest film from mastermind, Menoeceus, is upon us. Part 1 is currently featured on the main page of SkyJackal's MxO Video Collection (with a link to Part 2 in the video description) while a dedicated playlist has also been set up to house the main feature as well as it's two spectacular trailers.

I hope you all enjoy watching it as much as i do making it available on Menoeceus' behalf. Thank you.

I'm also afraid to announce that the Follow The White Rabbit Buddy Key Trial v4.0 is now officially OVER. All 500 of my keys have now been distributed and NO more requests will be seen to.

---

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all participants in the Follow The White Rabbit Trial Program and wish you all the best of luck in your future adventures inside the Mega City. Thank you and good night.

#36300425410 03/15/2008 16:09:26 Re:SkyJackal's MxO Video Collection

SkyJackal's MxO Video Collection has just seen one of it's biggest updates to date with the two great videos from Morpheus Legacy having just been uploaded and made available in this, my first ever upload request, woo!
(Remember, if you have an MxO video you want uploaded through the channel you need only PM me)

Morpheus' Legacy Chapter 1 - Accusation

Morpheus' Legacy Chapter 2 - War And Victory

I've also gone through and re-arranged a ton of videos from my current playlists as well as introduced the whole new MxO Poops playlist! Thanks to the eternal struggle between comedy masterminds Starschwar and Taaaax there are now enough of this side splitting pieces of gold to justify their own little collection!

But further still I've continued work on collecting videos from all corners of the interweb that show MxO movie making from back in the days of its infancy. Not as many special effects, voice overs, emote trickery or epic scores but good old fashioned gameplay, ambience and rock music! These things are bursting in nostalgia and retro goodness!

The Matrix Online - Line Ghost

The Matrix Online - Vereor

The Matrix Online - Biohazard

Speaking of retro... ever wondered what The Matrix Online looked like before it shipped or even before it went into beta? Well have I got the uploads and playlist for you with the new Zion Archive playlist! Housing archived footage from old press events, interviews, trailers and beta, be sure to reacquaint yourself with the game that was, could have been, and is, The Matrix Online.

Not only that but in celebration of the game's Third Anniversary Event as well as a kind donation from the team behind MxOSpace I recently announced the return of my Follow The White Rabbit Buddy Key Trial, available not only through YouTube but threads on both GameSpot and MMORPG too. This program has proven immensely popular in the past and I'm sure this time it'll be just as strong!

#36300484213 08/01/2008 06:13:24 Re:SkyJackal's MxO Video Collection

Another BIG update to the Video Collection today, highlights include:

  • Ton of new favorites see me finally up to date with both Starschwar's and Traaax's YTPs as well as some gameplay videos showing off gun play in The Matrix Online and a tribute to The Oracle. Total number of favorites now rests comfortably at 180 videos.

  • Finally got around to uploading the great in-game rendition of Cinematic 9.1, as made by Aquatium and ODJ I believe.

  • In celebration of The Sleepwalkers return to MxO as new Sati's Playground content come Update 62 I've returned to my archives to pull out some of the original videos from the Blue Sky concert itself.

Now I've done this before but then it was only a select few of my 'faves'; whats special this time round is these new vids are straight conversions from the actual in-game compressed .bik files I saved back when the event was still ongoing. I had to download RADTools (a utility from the creators of the .bik video encoder and compression) to convert the files to a raw 5gb (yes, five gig) video. I then had to cut that up into seperate vids and compress em back down to a reasonable size, converting them to YouTube friendly WMVs along the way. The advantage (or maybe disadvantage depending on how much you like your advertising ^_^) is that the original UnderArmour ads and Live Event Character Emote Fillers are left intact for an authentic Blue Sky experience.

These 5 new videos are available either from the front page of the channel or through the Blue Sky Concert Playlist.

  • I've also continued my Archive work by uploading another old school MxO movie classic entitled The Matrix Chronicles: Faiz (parts 1 and 2)

So yeah, enjoy, and remember, We Must Protect This House!
