This deserves it's own thread.

I do have a serious question to ask FH.  I have known FH since before most of it's members were even in FH.  Your creed has always been to follow the ways of Morpheus.

*Thinks of Midnight's sig of Morpheus telling her she is great among redpills*

Morphues is known and expressed more concern over vengeance against the machine, sacrificing millions of bluepills, and getting Neo's body back over everything else.  This is all fact and written record.  The Machinists have since day one expressed their desire to save all of mankind, not just one group.

With all this talk of Morpheus, etc.. being alive will FH fall in line right behind Morpheus as before?  If the answer is yes then forget about IP Conflict or EPN, FH will become the most dangerous threat to the lives of bluepills and stability of the Matrix.

On a more serious note then Sattakan, all we can say is that our path and choices will be exactly what we want to do and do what we believe is the right thing, what does that mean? only time will truly tell.

Actions do indeed speak louder than words.  Our concern is that we know what Morpeus actions have been.  There is no evidence that his actions will change when he comes back.  Past actions show that FH are true followers of Morpheus and are his soldiers.  2+2 does not equal 5.

So based on past events we can predict future behaviour.  Therefore FH will be the most dangerous faction in megacity and most detrimental to the Truce and bluepill safety.

Be careful not to "assume" things Sattakan, cause well we all know what that means.

I am not assuming, I am following the evidence.  Let's see:

  • Morpheus is idolized by FH
  • Midnight is leader of FH
  • Morpheus has recognized Midnight as a loyal follower
  • FH pledges allegiance to Morpheus path
  • Morpheus pledges to get Neo's body back at all costs
  • Morpheus pledges to punish machines truce or no truce.
  • Morpheus tells the Oracle that he is willing to sacrifice millions of lives
  • FH has never denounced Morpheus
  • When asked where FH stands Aquatium gives some vague answer

As a leader of The Collective I do not have the luxury of waiting to see what will happen next.  I flat out ask the questions and act accordingly.  The elusive answers we are getting leads me to prepare for the worst, but always expect the best.  So we will prepare as if Morpheus and FH will continue the path they have always been on.  That path is unnaceptable and thus makes FH the most dangerous faction in MegaCity!

Someone please show me where I am wrong in my conclusions?

I suppose were all in the same boat ah? You follow the system and Agent Gray from our information he is doing almost exactly what your preaching your against. Whether it is messing with exiles, or creating the cyphers to put redpills back inside their pods its still against the system.

You follow blindly with a organization who aren't even human. They could be working on things you have no idea about.
You yourself said you don't know exactly what Gray is doing so how can you accuse us of following Morpheus? We don't know anything as of now if thats even him. And if it is, what he is doing and what he has found out? What if everything he's been telling us about the machines is true? Then what? You will continue to follow them? Truce seems to be thrown around like its a get out of free card. " No stop the truce and all" " Oh yeah your right my bad"

The truce will fail soon, it was never meant to last. The Oracle said that. So then what were suppose to roll over and do nothing? No we will continue to train and continue to be aware of whats going on in the system.

I think what Aqua is saying is that the past shouldn't dictate anything at this point.  They themselves aren't sure what Morpheus's intentions will be if he returns.  Perhaps they will follow, perhaps not.

Regardless we CAN be sure that Mave will most likely be naked doing it.

Wise words my friend, wise words, but then there was never any doubt that you can see the message that was being potrayed. Some people are blinded by what they wish to see, whereas others open their eyes.

There is too much at stake for idealism and vagueness.  Call me the "Lock" of the machinists.  I am a realist.  I see what is infront of me and make a decision, not what ifs and maybes.  You have not given me any reason otherwise.  So while my fellow co-leader may be willing to assume just what you plan to do, I am not.

Had you come straight forward and said, "What Morpheus did and proposed to do in the past was wrong.  We denounce those types of actions and if he comes back with that same agenda we will not follow it."  You have not said anything to this cause, therefore I will be prepared for the worst.  How do you like those apples?  Am I still seeing only what I want to see?

Ugh.

Machinists work to maintain the integrity of the System and uphold the Truce. You sound like our new liasion, "U serv mastrs, yes?"

And, let's be honest, we're the ONLY ones who have worked to maintain the Truce. Be honest.

The issue of the Machines and Gray is not my concern or focus.  I am not speaking on behalf of the Machines.  I am speaking on the values of The Collective and what we stand by.  Since nobody can answer my question straightforward let me re-phrase the question.

This is for all you past Morpheus followers.  You all know by now what Morpheus did and was trying to do.  You all know what he told the Oracle.  Do you denounce what Morpheus did and was trying to do?  Will you continue to follow him if he continues on that path?

It is not a hard question to answer.  I already put in bulletpoint in a previous post so you can go back and read that.  Once this question has been answered then we can address where we stand as regards to Gray.  Let's not try to shift the issue shall we.

Since this is a April fools joke thread, maybe I will start a new one.  This is very interesting.

Who knows in the end in may not be zion or the machines who start the war it could be good Ol Mervy.

Or maybe he has a point, Sattakan.  Haven't you asked yourself why almost no one is taking this thread seriously?  Or for that matter, why all these pages of utter bullcrap (save for the intelligent responses) are saturated with shots taken against it?  Or are you taking the dignified route, not "stooping to our level?"

I think the majority of people viewing this thread now recognize it for what it has become...a joke, and a fair bit of a failure.  While I won't tell you what to do, I think you should ask yourself, "At what point do I consider this venture unviable?"

If you can't stop and recognize what is happening, well, I feel sorry for ya there, man.  At least you acknowledged that perhaps people have a problem with it being you asking the question.  I know I did.

Oh, and Serenity's post troubles me...you've received multiple abuse reports concerning this thread and it still isn't locked?  Excuse me, but we were having a ball on my old thread capping off the M for Morpheus campaign (pics of the Mech Construct infiltration, and subsequent debate)...we get a few people making "flames" and then it's not only locked, but also deleted by the man himself, Walrus.  Can someone explain that to me?  'Cause I sure didn't get a response.
