cannot get into game

hi, i am new to this and have a friends who plays. i cannot get into the game, i get past the loading screen, i can create my character but when i goto get to the training level all that comes up is the chat box in the bottom left corner and the rest is just a black screen. everything my mate has suggested eg. update graphics card and run patch full system scan has not worked, my computer is more than capable of running this game. any ideas?

you're not running Vista, are you? I know a lot of the guys around here are having problems with Vista and Mxo.
