pure MA stas

I have reached lvl48 i am a pure MA player and i am wondering about my stats i currently have Belief Focus and Vitality as my main i think my stats are: 21,8,8,28,25 not 100% on the numbers but its close to that, is that any good? i want to have the best stats possible, previously i had 30,8,8,30,11 but was told it wasnt much use?! so i stat hacked to change them, now i am doubting if i have done the right thing as i palnned to have belief and focus at 30 then do vitality with what is left.

looking at the stats effects it looks like belief is mainly a hacker stat?

as you can tell im getting rather confused as to what i should be doing!

Stats themselves depend a lot on what you are planning with your RSI and game time. As for stats, a rule I always tend to give out is thinking defensively.

You will find stats give bonuses to many things, i.e where Melee damage and Viral Acc is thrown together and etc, so think about what you want best defense against and damage etc.

Belief is..

Blind Duration Bonus (2%)
Buff Area Radius Bonus (2%)
Debuff Area Radius Bonus (2%)
Melee Accuracy Bonus (2%)
Melee Resistance Bonus (2%)
Movement Speed Bonus (2%)
Pacify Duration Bonus (2%)
Viral Damage Bonus (2%)
Viral Defense Bonus (2%)

So its a stat good for Melee and Viral attackers, as well as being good defensively against hackers.

So in all honestly, there is no perfect setting, but its based around what clothing you want to use and abilites and then have the stats adjust to suit your needs.

Basic stat's for an MA are:

Belief - Max
Focus - Max
The remainder into Perception or Vitality.

As it's been stated before, Vitality isn't all that useful at this point.  Putting your remaining points into Perception will give you increased ballistic defense, into Vitality will grant you an increased chance of winning rounds (upon activating desperation only).

Personally, I have the remainder in Perception.  A gunmen's stat's grant maximum melee defense (from maximum Focus), whereas an MA can only get to 16 (I believe, depending on your base stat's), and therefore a lower percentage of defense.  Considering there are arguably more gunmen and MA's than hackers and knifers, this set-up will give you as much defense as possible from your stat's alone.

All the above is, of course just one opinion.  You could argue that as an MA you should try to accumulate as much ballistic/thrown defense as possible, at the expense of weakening your IL prowess.  It really is a judgement call, and entirely up to you Mr Robson.  You can easily change stat's anyway, so I'd advise testing multiple settings before settling on what works best for you.  

Thanks! ok so all 3 of the stats i have gone for are the ones i need to work on. i appreciate it differs from RSI to RSI i think i will be using Kung-fu as my main tree with bits off the other two as well. as for clothing i have no idea as i dont have much lvl50 stuff infact i dont have much clothing over lvl43 that aside the clothes i do have have ok buffs.

as a base then my stats are ok but may need 'fine tuning' to get best results. in your opinion in what order whould they be highest? focus belief then vitality, i appreciate it is a broard question. 

sorry i didnt see your reply there noctivagus i must have been typing my reply at the time you posted it. i see... so what i was doing before was a good idea then never mind, as you say it is easy enough to stat hack i will try it out as it is and leave it untill im at 50 to mess about with it.

you wanna get Beleif and Focus to between 27-30 and put the rest in Perception since Gunmen have the advantage against you.

well i have stat hacked as i didnt like the new set up i had, now my stats are 30,9,8,30,11 which seems to be working quite well i think i made an error when i started the game as i selected one of the options whereby my base stats are something like 5,8,8,5,11 but hohum im now lvl49 so i guess at 50 i will put one more point on Perception giving me 30,10,8,30,11
