I have seen this for a long time and I haven't found it yet with searching the forums (don't blame me if you do find it though >_>SMILEY.

When u press freefire (i usually use a rifle like kessay AR1) it will NOT stop freefire even if you move or use abilities. It will do freefire attacks continously (in the reuse intervals of course). The only thing that interrupts the freefire is jumping or targeting someone else (or nobody). It happens most of the time when I fight the 01 TM. Also when this happens and you or the NPC/player gets out of range of the weapon you will get a target is not in firing range message every 0.5 second until you are very close to him/she/it again (even if you're under the guns range you need to be in like 10 meter range or sth) or you abort it using the above stated.

Free-fire is supposed to be continuous, although there are a couple target-out-of-range bugs similar to what you describe.

Hit ESC to deselect the target?

Freefire is always continous, unless..

a. You change target
b. You or your taget moves out of range or sight
c. You re-press the freefire button
d. Your target is killed

Haven't seen any other bug with them lately about this though.

Yeah it's supposed to be coninous. But even after you moved or trying to activate an ability (which it disrupts, does not happen with all abilities though; sneak/conceal for instance will break through this)?

e. You press the close-combat button to try and move into cc, but get deflected by an evade shield.

Idk if it's a bug or what but whenever I press that button and get deflected back, Free-fire stops.  The crosshairs remain lit up like free-fire should still be on, but it never fires unless I press the button to turn it off and then turn it back on again.

This is not a bug.  To freefire continuously hit it once, to freefire once double-click it.  Generally I find continuous freefire quite useful as you can fit a range of specials inside that 4 second gap thus increasing your damage output.  I'm not sure I've seen freefire interrupt my own specials though, usually the special takes precedence.

>_< That IS the bug. That it disrupts abilities. I know that is supposed to be continuously. (mhm.. although even after moving?)

This isn't a real problem when you're a rifleman and firing with your Kessay. But if you're using Clamors, with the 3.5 sec. reuse timer then it becomes quite annoying. Mix that with rifleman and I have to move, double click, switch targets, untarget someone before I can properly use a free-fire special.
Everything I click should cancel the continuous freefire immediatly. It makes for a friendly user interface.

I have only been playing for a few days, but I have noticed that if I use hindering shot or Firearms skill which is a range damage buff my freefire will deactivate. I then have to wait for a small cooldown period before I can activate it again. Is this supposed to happen ?
