It was truely a wonderful dream.
I'm over it
You see I'm falling in the vast abyss
Clouded by memories of the past
At last, I see
I was in battle with a gaint snake. It was just me and my trusty blade. Though the massive reptile was starring at me with a look of hunger, I held my ground. This was not just another battle. No... This was a battle to see if I could overcome my fear...
I hear it fading
I can't speak it
Or else you will dig my grave
We fear them finding
Always whining
Take my hand now
Be alive
My fear of being controled. Of not having that beautiful thing we all have: Free-will.
You see I cannot be forsaken
Because I'm not the only one
We walk amongst you
Feeding, raping
Must we hide from everyone
The snake lunged at me. I quickly dodged it's head and twisted my body so I was facing it's skin. With a quick thrust, I plunged my blade into its soft skin. The snake hollowed in pain before facing me again, this time with a new found purpose.
I'm over it
Why can't we be together
Embrace it
Sleeping so long
Taking off the mask
At last, I see
Suddenly a voice rang out of it's mouth... a voice I knew all too well. "Let me have your body! I MUST HAVE YOUR SOUL!!!" it screamed. I shook but held my ground; no longer would I flich at the voice.
My fear is fading
I can't speak it
Or else you will dig my grave
We fear them finding
Always whining
Take my hand now
Be alive
I fought... and I fought. I fought until I thought my arms would turn to dust. But finally... after what seemed like hours... the snake gave in. Too weak to continue fighting, it lowered it's head in defeat. It looked up at me as I walked to it, blade in hand and with a glare in my eye. "P-Please... Spare me!" it pleaded. I finally spoke after a minute of silence.
You see I cannot be forsaken
Because I'm not the only one
We walk amongst you
Feeding, raping
Must we hide from everyone
"Though the snake may dream of soaring through the skys... he is forever doomed to crawl upon his belly." And with one quick motion, I brought my blade down on it's neck, ending the life of the snake forever. Blood showered the area, including me. Finally, pain got the best of me and I fell to the ground, smiling.
You see I cannot be forsaken
Because I'm not the only one
We walk amongst you
Feeding, raping
Must we hide from everyone
Everyone
Everyone
Everyone
For those of you who thought I was gone... Think again. The Ouroboros may have died, but the ashes will give rise to the phoenix. Through the wonderful Prince of Darkness, I have finally killed the Leviathan in me, no longer a slave to the will of the Serpent. I shall make my return tonight. And I shall seek revenge against the one who did this... even if it happens to be the man I thought died a long time ago.
