Ok this dosn't affect my gameplay adversly, but I'd like to know if the "problem" is on my end. Ok lately I haven't seen any dynamic ads in the game, I only see the static ads like tundra cigarettes, panda tacos, and what I think may be whiskey ads...Now having said that when I load into Creston South Central the ads on the wall below Binary Boy, show up for me from a distance..They are ads for "Metro Modelling" and an ad for a congestion medicine..I think they are ingame ads and not dynamic ads as they share the same drab color scheme as say the Tundra cig ads.

The problem I'm having is that they show up when I'm across the street from them, but when I move closer to them the LOD adjusts and they reappear as "AD Space for Rent" Billboards...I will post some screen shots if you don't know what I mean.

It's the way the system is designed.

It is supposed to deliver adverts from Massive Inc which are relevent to your location, which requires your IP address to be released to Massive. So if you are in the US and Canada, then this process occurs and you receive in-game adverts. If however you are outside of those areas then all you are likely ever to see (unless a workarround or change in policy is made) is Ad Space for Rent signs.

I'm in the same boat.

The signs which you see for a short period of time before they are replaced are the underlying textures which used to exist before the Massive System was introduced to provide the new ingame ad's. Before that the ad's were static textures which were introduced or changed by a patch to the game client files.
