Today I was cycling around at work (delivering the mail) and suddenly realised I didn't have my evade shield up.  Then I remembered it was Real Life but I couldn't shake the feeling that there was nothing to stop a car from InterLocking me..

Anyway, does anyone else have any RL MxO Moments they'd like to share?

a few years back, i had this coat. let's call it a "Matrix coat", because everyone else did, even though it was basically a man's three-quarter length coat that happened to be black. whatever SMILEY

anyway...a nice side effect of wearing this coat was that it seemingly imbued me with the power to do seriously awesome things while wearing it. for example...

.....one time, i popped into the city centre to grab some dinner on my lunch break. so of course, mcdonalds it is.

well, out i come with my double cheeseburger in hand and start to make my way back to work.

on the way up, i see this tall, weird looking homeless dude skanking his way towards me with his band of hobo buddies.

"gimme  a bite of yer burger, mate"....

....uh, how about i ignore you and keep going.

next minute, i hear a tirade of abuse from behind me and its getting closer. mr homeless guy has gone insane.

"....disrespect me will you? will you? better than me are you eh? swear swear rant rant cough etc"

....and, hobo buddies in tow, he gets closer and makes the slightest movement to pull his arm back and hit me.

unfortunately for mr homeless man, i PUNCHED HIM IN THE FACE AND DROPPED HIM WHILE STILL HOLDING MY CHEESEBURGER IN THE OTHER HAND FTW.

then i ran off.

matrix style.

I've had this happen to me twice: I'm sitting in the cafeteria, alone, eating something and drinking Pepsi, when I hear a little squeaky noise from my left and slightly below me. I instantly look in that direction, expecting to see an incoming tell in the chat window, and then realize I'm not in MxO -_-

I have a black leather coat, 3 quarter length too. Everyone always calls it 'Matrix coat' too. SMILEY
Never had such a cool moment with the coat on though. SMILEY

I've still got my full length leather coat, which I often wear on days of poor weather, most people think of Blade rather than Neo when they see it tho'. The best time I had in it was when some mates and I went out late at night in pitch darkness and had a full scale battle with our Master Replicas Lightsaber FX's. It's sad really, I was young, but it was still quite sad!!

Oh, man, did I laugh!!! SMILEY

I think I'm striking MA poses just for fun, but I've done this b4 playing MxO...

For my matrixiest moment, it was when I saw this in my local newspaper:

nope, but I did earn the undying fear and respect of the local homeless community. I treat them like a dark army of the night now.

I got Suplexed, but that was more because of the WWE, it is called the German Suplex on there.... and it hurts, but I would rather have another Suplex than a Punt.

I'm someone who don't really fear talking to strangers or making a fool of myself.

One day, I was in a men's clothing shop, looking for some dress pants. I was going to a dressing room. I entered it, then immediately got out when I realized what I just had seen on the way. Next to it, there was a man with a white shirt and a sleeveless black vest looking at himself in the mirror, arranging his necktie. He had spiky dark hair with whitened ends and had an elitist look. So the following conversation happened, while I still had one foot in the cabin:

-Euh, excusez-moi monsieur. Est-ce qu'on vous a déjà appelé Flood?
-What?
-Oh sorry. Someone ever called you Flood?
-No?
-Ok thanks.

Then I went back in the cabin to try the pants. He gave me quite a strange look from the cashier counter when I came out of the cabin.

I haven't had any butt-kicking moments, but I did have some crazy good reflex type things happen to me.

One day, when I was in the break room at my University, there was this girl that was walking in (or trying to) and she had a ton of things in her hand, and was struggling. I was a good 10 feet away or so, and there were others a bit closer; but I didn't want to turn away yet since I had a feeling I might have to help her out.

Another few seconds went by, and I put my drink down and turned back towards her. She had a stack of a good 40 or so index cards, and they were just about to fall--so I take two fairly large strides, and just as I do, they slip out from under her grip and other books.

I manage to catch all of them in mid air, with the one hand, while my other still held my purse. I hand them all back to her, and everyone just kinda turns around and tilts their head at me, and one of my friends said from the corner, "Holy ninja reflexes!"  (or something like that)

The reflex part is probably from work as i've made myself amidexterious in order to multitask... and it's saved me many a broken shotglass or wasted cups/items.

I hear the little chitter of an incoming chat message sometimes in place of noise on the street.

Somtimes after a long night of MxO, the following morning when I drive to work, in my head i start to try and right click the car in front of me on the highway so that I /follow them on the way to work til my exit comes up. The moment only lasts a fraction of a second, but the embarissment to myself last forever  lol
