Station pass going up in price..Lets demand more staff for MXO

So I hear that the SOE station pass will be going up in price to around $30USD Yes you get access to a bunch of games, most of wich are utter crap, some were very good though like SWG and MXO..lol

 I say we band together and request more funding for MXO, mainly in the form of staff...SOme DEVS would be nice 1 or 2 people as aprt of a small but dedicated LET.

What do you guys think?

I think we are lucky to have what we have now.

We all know you have like 3 characters in each server and your first in-line at every single event regardless of org. So as i was writing my original thread I knew you would come in and say something stupid like that.

My post was reasonable specially considering Sony will be getting more money. But I realize the fanboy in you had to come and defend those who treat you well.

I think what they meant is that they are happy we have the Devs we do, considering our subscriber numbers.

Consider this....We have lost soo many players to due 1.SOE fired the entire LET  2.They have stripped MXO of funding and staff and 3.No marketing (wich goes back to funding)

So if our player base can be related to anything it's directly linked to how much money is invested in this game.

You get back what you put in.

Firstly, the only reason it went up is because of Vangaurd...the so called World of Warcraft "killer".  And, being here for a while, I'm going to side with HostileIntention.  We are lucky they haven't shut down the game, as I've seen some communities with the (perspective) same amount of people as us close.

 Perhaps, instead of finding a scapegoat to bring this cliche discussion up (believe me, I hate how things are too), you should actually listen to what people say and not insult them when they disagree.  If you don't respect other people's opinion, why should we bother with yours?

Well shouldn't that apply to those who first had a chance to read my original post...If those people didn't agree they could have simply not replied.

It's simple, SOE isn't going to pump money into a game that the mass market has already given up on.  They will put their money into the games that they have the most subscribers in, such as Everquest.

Excatly and to beleive some of these same people defending the current state of things are ussually the ones who have mutiple accounts, and yet they don't think we shuld be getting more, after giving all that extra cash and spending all that extra time in-game.

You didnt get the point i was making, SOE wont fund us anymore than we have.

Rarebit does an amazing job, as does Walrus etc. If anything changed now we could lose the consistancy we have got already..we know when new criticials come out, when a patch is etc. Agreed a patch could be quickly with more people working on it. But as i said SOE arnt gonna give us those people.

Infact if im honest with you, i hate SOE! I never said i was happy it was "just" Rarebit, i said i was happy with his work!

My intentions were not to flame anybody, I made this thread with full intention on getting community support in making a request to SOE to increase the funding were getting.

The point is simple, now is the chance.how many countless threads havn't been opened regarding "if SOE gave us more money" yet the answer always came down to..They don't have more or would rather spend it on other projects.

Well heres a reasonable opportunity to make such a request, but of course taking into consideration that the current station subscribers don't flip out with the new rate increase.

Again, I'm not here to purposely flame anybody but  if someone comes and *CENSORED* all over your post you gotta fight back.

In your last reply you made it clear how you really felt, but in your first post it appeared as though you were supporting the current state of things.

A lot fo you I respect for giving your honest opinions even though most of you have lost any interest in making this game better and have accepted it's reality.

 DOn't get me wrong, I often loos al interest and consider this game a lost cause. But then I look around and non of the other mmo's out there feel right, so I jump back and analyze all the faults of this game it's lack of DEV support (although rarebit has lots to deal with) I figure even with our limited staff we could have done more by now.

i realize no one beyond Walrus reads any of this BS we type here, but I never said "I hope the guy in charge of SOE is reading this because i'm very mad..grrr we need more funding"   No I didn't.  All I asked was for the support of those who think we should be getting more money spent on this game.

No one can battle WoW it's like starbucks it's taking over the world (if it hasn't already) I'm sure the new expansion feeds demonic messeges hidden into it's cheesy graphics to compel players to keep logging in...or buying accounts on ebay for hundreds of dollars.

Of course rarebit will not get into details and instead give some lighthearted remarks, it's his job on the line.  Go ask your boss for a raise depending on his attitide he'll either laugh at you, fire you or give you the raise....I take it Rarebit loves his job. Not to mention i'm sure he would love to have a full LET some more DEVS and of coruse a few more hot interns.

But i give up, it seems 90% of you don't care and/or are satisfied and won't ask for more, you will all be fully convinced that MXO will not be seeing more cash or staff..it seems you have all given up as well
