The following is in no way being declared as new... just new to me. SMILEY

I stumbled across this old (pre MxO release) interview with Paul Chadwick. INTERVIEW

In it there are 3 pictures of characters listed as being MxO characters.

The 1st we know, the other 2 we don't (yet).

The Assassin (http://www.silverbulletcomicbooks.c...ineassassin.jpg)

The Egyptian (http://www.silverbulletcomicbooks.c...theegyptian.jpg)

The Crow Lady (http://www.silverbulletcomicbooks.c...inecrowlady.jpg)

What are your thoughts?

The Egyptian and The Crow Lady don't look like they can pwn anybody.

I think the "Crow Lady" might possibly have evolved into the "Bag Lady"

Either that or the Crazy Cat Lady from The Simpsons.

I think we're past the point of seeing unique new models based on Chadwick sketches, if they were going to show up those characters would have by now.

I disagree.

I agree with the disagreement. If those models have already been implemented into the system then they haven't been shown yet because of the storyline. I heard that there are quite a few things that aren't implemented into the game although it exists on both the clients and servers. The zombies for instance. They should have been used for the story at some point but they already used them for the Haloween event although I hope we meet them again before the next Haloween.

The zombies were supposed to lurk in some power plant area that never got finished.

There hasn't been a sign of the Twins until chapter 6.1, or before they were implemented as training sims - their models were either created somewhere before launch, or maybe even later (not sure here).

Rarebit is able to create quite impressive character models at his own through recycling and modifying - the Unlimits weren't bad, the Elite Commandos rock and look like totally new. That it's Rarebit's brain child and not Chadwick's doesn't mean anything, self-evidently.

Well if we have an event something like the Hunt for the Assassin. Will they hand out 4 items per server from the killing blow on the bag lady?

I bet its gonna be her purse or the hat. It better have uber buffs too!!

You have to remember the storyline is going at a much slower speed than originally planned (If I remember correctly) so it's still possible these characters will show up.

They both seem like interesting characters. The Egyptian simply because Egyptian Mythology is interesting. The Crow Lady however, gives me the creeps which makes her interesting. The crows symbolising bad luck. The missing fingers o.0.

Where's the spoiler?

PC: They'll be able to join one organization or another and advance its goals. You can actually work for The Merovingian, you can work for Zion and you can work for the machines alongside agents to accomplish their goals, a lot of which are secret and underhanded. There are also threats to the Matrix itself, this unreality I've been talking about. At one point a group of humans gets their hands on some code which gives them outrageous superpowers and they start making a lot of trouble in the Matrix. That's when the agents and humans have to come together, hunt them down and eliminate them.

We should have been prepared...

Actually, we were supposed to get those superpowers within the Unlimit chapter. But they would have caused so much unbalance and required a lot of coding for CR2 that they didn't release them.

yeah we were supposed to get vials but it's not because of an unbalance it's because the game was understaffed and they lost their lead art.

"It was not to be.  I think a week or two after I pitched these to everybody, to generally positive nods, we lost our art lead to another game.  It's no rap on Sony; we had to downsize to break even on this game.  But after that, we just didn't have the manpower to execute this stuff." - Paul Chadwick, from his blog; link to post
