Supreme DMG Resist..Thrown dmg?! makes no sense

ok, am i the only one very very confused here?  Why, oh why would you get 4% thrown dmg Bonus when 1. you CANT really load crap from any knife/*CENSORED*/infil trees with this ability also loaded to make that 4% worth a *CENSORED*. and 2. not a SINGLE cast Buff in the game gives thrown dmg (or acc) buffs.   So can a Dev or someone with knowledge of this situation please help me make sense of this.

How about instead of TDB they make it a health regen or just a heath bonus?

2. READ MY OP!!!
3. Its useless to give thrown dmg on a lvl 33 ability in the hacker tree.....you cant load enough mkt/*CENSORED*/infil to make it worth it.

Doesn't mean I don't agree with you. I do. It's a weird place for that bonus to be. 

And yeah, there are no passive thrown defense bonuses to be found anywhere in any tree. The Thrown Resistance bonus is borke. These probs are not helping peoples's perception about balance amongst the trees when you can get good passive defense bonuses against all other tactics and all the other resistance bonuses work just fine. 

An MKT gets naturally good Ballistic defense from perception and can find plenty of passive buffs to prebuff the hyperdodge ability, but the gunfighter has broken thrown resistance, typically weak thrown defense from low reason and nowhere to get passive thrown defense buffs.

Oh well, maybe someday thrown resistance will get fixed, passive thrown defense bonuses will get added and enraged and taunt will get fixed. Then maybe we can have a clearer picture on the balance issue.

I do hope...

PS The Leo, I can't find a single ability in the hacker or patcher tree that buffs or downgrades thrown damage. That's what makes it weird to see the passive buff for thrown damage in the Patcher tree.

The Leo and I have already said, the level 50 ability- Upgrade Master includes a buff for thrown damage when you cast it.
If you load up supreme damage resistance with UM, the thrown damage bonus will be applied to the UM buff whenever you dish it out to your MKT buddy on your team.

I don't see why this is so difficult to understand SMILEY
