I've just reached level 50 and wonder if there's any need not to select "easy" anymore. Is the cash the same?
Does $info vary depending on mission difficulty?

I dunno, Ive done 2 parters which give me 175k and 3 parters which give me 121k
but whatever difficulty you do it on, you get 175k or 121k

you get the same $i wheather you do it on easy, medium or hard.

I don't think so. When I was grinding org rep, I ran missions on easy/small and got maybe a third of the cash I was used to getting on hard missions. This was after hitting 50.
Difficulty affects XP only. The info reward for completing missions NEVER changes no matter what the setting or how many stages. The info does increase based on your own level but that is not controllable.
For grinding info select easy and run courrier missions. Try to find a neighborhood where the missions are only two stages. Or do contact missions on easy as many are only one stage. The shorter the mission, the faster you will earn info.

Thats what I was going to suggest they do give you quick info with those 1 stagers
I think the info is the same, it is just easier to go through the missions on easy if all you want is info.
Info shouldnt be affected by difficulty it only effects XP
But in fact it does. $info and XP increases gradually each level until you reach the cap at level 50. $Info it's a 175K max and XP in around 404K for a 3 legs mission. The same goes for the max $info loot dropped by a NPC, which could be around 200K for a 3 chevron, or and enhanced weapon which sells for 125K at a vendor if you already have its recipe.
