I think private citizens have every right to do what they did. Without the repercussion of the cops.
I live on a very busy one way street. I have invited the cops to actually sit in my driveway and happily ticket ppl as we and the neighbors have kids and ppl speed all the time here. And yes i see the occasional cop doing it to but even if i was to do wot these ppl did i don't feel wot happened after was/is justified.
