Has anybody looked into the NPC walking out bug and returning to the Origin?

I just ask because I had this occur 3 times to me on one mission two days ago which wasn't ammusing. :p

Blast. And I should have asked if this {#} tag has permanently replaced all those funny character names like ORACLE12121212. 'Cos this is a lot nicer. SMILEY

I had thought about that possibility, but it seemed a lil' bit strange to me... you know, the third wave appears like, 10 seconds after the second one, I mean, really fast.

I mean, if that's supposed to be this way, it's all cool I guess.

You were expecting them to show up on someone else?

I've tried to use the search function and have just gone through 40 pages of your post archive, without success - and decided it would be better to ask here SMILEY

I remember someone asked if you were going to introduce new PB arcs, and you said no because you didn't like the idea of someone being able to open a box anywhere in Downtown (among other things).

As a side note, I couldn't understand this because I find it pretty cool that you can open it anywhere on the street (come on, it is cool), and because people still run old boxes and a new one would only boost it for a little while.

However, my question is merely, were there any other reasons you think it's not gonna happen, and mainly, are you going to continue the plot in case it requires it (I'm about to finish it up myself, but I've heard that there was some sort of cliffhanger at the end), through other means?

Oohhh... now I've grasped this.

If you don't take wave 1 quickly enough, the second and third one overlap, right? Alright, that makes perfect sense. Sorry for my ignorance SMILEY

Eh well if I was able to manage my time better I'd get to the gym at least two evenings out of the work week... Also I try not to have to be here on the weekends at all costs--that just gets depressing. Weekends are good for catching up on sleep, and going out and eating unhealthy things. =P

I see you on DN1 in the wee AM hours on the weekends still! SMILEY

Did I remember wrong or did you mention that we're coming up on the next "big" set of archive rewards? Another set akin to the glasses/berret/coat?

I would love to see something like

Machine: Agent Jacket
Zion: Commando Boots
Merovingian: Some sort of Club Guard clothing item

Longer than that.  As I recall, the plan is to get those items out every four full chapters (1-4, 5-8, 9-12).  Assuming this is still the plan, we probably won't see the next set until chapter 9.1.

My ideas...

Zion: Commando camo Pants, a shirt with Morpheus's "Render onto humanity..." poster, any of Anome's unique clothing

Machines: Agent Suit (Please, Rarebit! )... can't think of much else, really.

Merovingian: Elite Commando Stealth Suit (kneck down), assuming they do ally with the General.  Or a Vamprie trench, the Merovingian's suit, or something like that.

Right. Consider we're about to start 7.1...oh, snap, math. Fine, 36 weeks more or less.

....*CENSORED* it, we need to boost-speed the storyline! This is too slow!

On the chance that I get right after Rarebit, what is the lowest elevation in the megacity?
#36300173425 02/23/2007 20:08:05 Re:Ask the Devs an MXO question v.4
Yeah, the full Elite Commando suit (Neck down, of course) would be pretty cool for one Organization's reward. But then, it seems like that should be buffed somehow and made into a rare item. and it's also assuming that there won't be any Elite Commandos out there in the future so that we can take their suits...

More clothing is good for everything.

Not until 9.1 comes out.

Could you give us a hint at what those next item rewards might be in the form of... Oh, say, item types? Like, jacket, boots, shirt, et cetera. Unless you have no plans for them at this time.

What's the lowest elevation point in the city?

I dunno. Maybe the lowest floor of Hel Club? That would be appropriate. But I don't actually know for sure.

What do those ruins in your signature stand for?

And if that question has been asked a million times....What are some of your favorite player created names that you've seen.

It's poorly-transliterated backwards katakana.

Are there any plans at the moment that will completely blow us away plot/gameplay wise in the near future?

(Or in absence of an answer for that, any other cool stuff you can tell us right now?)

could the codebomb ever be made into some kind of luggable/consumable type item?

#36300173500 02/23/2007 22:07:07 Re:Ask the Devs an MXO question v.4

Is there anything (mechanics, or otherwise) that is preventing you from cranking up the XP for neighborhood contact missions?

The thought process is that making those missions worth twice or three times as much will encourage new players to do more exploration of the city and make use of some excellent game content.

Will they ever post when Live Events might happen before they start? So many more could be involved, a lot of us work and cant be on 24/7. They could make plans to be on, and to have them on forums like maybe a day in advance before the Live event starts?
