New adult player looking for other adult players

Hello everyone!

So as you probably have guessed by the subject line, I'm pretty much a brand new player to MxO.

I participated in the beta, but chose not to return. I have mixed feelings about that, but I digress.

I decided to give the world another shot after skulking around here for a while and reading the new reviews after CR2.0. Honestly, I am a huge fan of the franchise, and lifestyle/genre in general, so I felt like it deserved a fair shot.

In any case, I am looking for other adult players on Syntax. I've completed the install and the tutorial already. I'm not new to MMOs, but their attraction to me is both in the immersion and the society, so I'm hoping to get in with a group of other adult players who are reasonably social, friendly, and won't mind answering a question or two.

I dont mean to sound elitist or unreasonable when I say "adults", but honestly, I dont play well with the "u r teh n00b and i pwnt j00 in pvp" type. If I wanted more of that, I'd jump back into Warcraft.

I'm from the US, East Coast, and generally play for extended periods on weekends, although you will find me online during weekday evenings also. You'll find me hanging out in Uriah for now as Technorati.

I have not yet committed my alliegiance anywhere. I am still exploring my options, such as they are, but I will, more than likely, go Merovingian.
