It's been nagging at me ever since EPN revealed code echoes of Morpheus' captain's beacon. The Nabonidus, Anome, Sati, The General, The Oracle, Zion mainframe access, cheat codes, Seraph, Cypherite spies... So many things keep coming up, and most of them we're still scrambling to answer. I can't shake the feeling that they're just red flags being waved in our face--distractions. Is there something behind all this? Why can't I make the connections?
Ugh. My head's going around in circles. Distractions... We're all here distracting each other. From what? Maybe the most obvious thing? Is that what this is always going to come down to?

Confusion spreads, uncertaintity enters the peoples hearts. That may as well be an aim of the General.

For all we know this could just be a way for Machines to maintain some kind of control...

Yes but with more questions come more anwsers. Maybe after all of this time the General's purpose is a War program. The plan to divide and conqure is his motive. Divide Distract and Deviate our truce. Let's face it what benefit does our Truce provide the Machines with? They do not trust us and for that matter why should they? All we did was refuse to accept them and tried to destroy them. We even sacrficed our planet and put our very existance in jepordy just to try and get rid of them. What have we done to prove to the machines that we will not try again. The general's purpose is to end this Truce by what ever means possible.

Perhaps Morpheus has been commended to the earth. Though, to cast a false image of his captivity in Machine pockets would inspire anger within the heart of Zion, wroughting a new clash of arms. Designs of such beguilement would indeed crumble the pillars upon which Zion rests. The result would indeed mantle a smile upon the General's face.

Amazing how many Zion operatives still hunger for war, did they fail to notice last time Zion itself was on the verge of total annihilation when Neo saved their asses..... I guess the communal Zion brain cell was elsewhere!
Ghost is becoming a little paranoid as well it seems, seems to me the cracks are getting wider all the time Zion is disintegrating from the top down.

Yes, there are still many questions will fail toi realize are out there. I think it's only a matter of time before we get the answer to them... Under what circumstances is a completely different thing.
Awsome event, the one thing I ha noticed was that most of all Zion appearances by the main characters were when there was a job to get done. We never really had time to talk about things, but this event was all about just chilling out and talking. Which I think was much needed. Thanks rare!

If we do go to war, do you really think the machines will give two *CENSORED* if you work with them anymore, they will throw you away like the trash that you are! For you are truly Zion, and a traitor at that. As well as a human, you will too, be fighting in this war, and most likely against those you work for now...

Agreed. The General has been pushing everyone to fight; he would certainly benefit if the truce failed.

Just look at what Ghost said, "We have just enough information to want to believe it." Get people who, before the war, were blindly searching for a savior on a path where they are blindly believing one of their heroes is alive. Sounds like the General's mode of operation to me.
Zion has to leave their blind faith at the door and find some real facts before we do anything stupid... again.
