well the UK now has the deadly strain of H5N1 virus
The Restriction Zone, in which poultry must be kept isolated from wild birds and movements must be licensed, now covers 806 square miles of east Suffolk and south east Norfolk. Government officials are keen to reassure the public there is no need to panic, as the risk to humans is "negligible" although 164 people have died from it in Asia and the Middle East.
Lets hope it gets contained ASAP and no more cases pop up ..Or it could escalate like foot and mouth did, and destroy our farming industry and cripple the economy. Either way some bumbling idiot from suffolk is bound to spread it across the country with some livestock.
