((After only so long, it hit me. We at the X.fm have totally neglected the Roleplaying communitity (mostly) for our IRC network!
No more, says I!
The following servers are available for you IRC users:
ircfl.thex.fm - Florida
ircsd.thex.fm - San Diego
http://thex.fm/content.asp?id=8 - Java Client
Aside from the already numerous channels full of people playing the Matrix Online (and other MMORPGs), you can now join channel #The_Matrix, dedicated solely to roleplaying! It's moderated, too, so you won't get annoying *flabbergasters* ruining all the hype! Now you can interact with other players across the servers as if you were berating each other between Hovercrafts.
Now you can discuss things of the Matrix with fellow Operatives when not in reach of a Launcher to take you in!
