I would take off the cover charge since you made such a killing at the olympics.
^VS^
People listen to Twaggy duel at these clubs and all the other stuff you mentioned daily without having to pay you a cover charge. I see this as a poorly executed scam to try to make a profit. This is an official party not just my regular show Truc, be optimistic. Besides I won't be drunk for once...

The $100k needed isn't going to DE, and it isn't a cover. In fact you don't have to have it. But in order to participate in one of the games, you'll need to be able to put up at least some moneyCan you confirm Dark Evolution will make no profit off this than?
^VS^
As mentioned in the flyer 'chances for YOU to win millions' i think that about sums up our giving away money. Hell i'll even put money into this thing alot more then 100k as well.
Demoana wrote:Yes, we definitely back this up. I make no claims for private betting, but that's not the same thing, hehe
Oh, but of course DE members who haven't been involved with planning the party will be able to participate and have the same opportunity to win as everyone else. In that sense, yes, DE could profit. But none of the money being put up for prizes is coming from the $100k per person anyway.
Abigor666 wrote:If it makes you more comfortable I will offer myself to look after the money since I will be the DJ, however that's up to the organisers but I would be more than happy. An empty page of inventory?!
I'd imagine one of the games is going to be a scavenger hunt of some sort.

Those toasters have gone too far this time. Kidnapping respected members of the Merovingian community? Using them to forcibly gather information?
No. This is an outrage, total bs.
But....
At least they weren't able to get them in the Stronghold yet. The Merovingian has disrupted their signal, and denied access for a limited time. Once that time is up...well, let's just say we need to get our comrades away from them before then. The deadline is 4pm est.
Rules of Engagement:
You must go downtown and search for the machine group holding our people prisoner. They'll be on the move, but you probably won't see them in the streets...so you'll have to move quickly if you want to succeed at this. Once you find them, engage the hostiles if you must, but the primary objective is to free the merovingians.
To do this, you need to give each one of the hostages ten doses of drugs, to counteract what the machines gave them. You don't have to give them all at once, but if you do it in smaller increments then the person who gives out the last dose will get the reward money for it.
Yeah, reward money....for every prisoner freed, the toasters will hand out $20 million...but only to one person. I guess they don't care if we share it out or not, so you might want to make sure you trust the people you team with. Once you rescue someone, they'll be free to join the fight against the machines, too, keep that in mind.
Watch out for machine interference, I have a feeling they'll be making their presence known. As for Zion....hell, who knows what they think. They might help out just to stick it to the machines, keep them from getting secrets they shouldn't have....or they might decide to come grab the reward money for themselves. Who knows, they might even try to stop us, let the mechs have our friends...you just never know with zions.

MemoryWipe says:
Terminix has made a play against the Merovingian, and kidnapped several of his Operatives. These renegades have been chosen for different reasons, but all are important to our progress against the Frenchman's power.
Unfortunately, he has enough pull in the matrix that we have to give him at least a fighting chance to get his people back. And I'm sure the Zions wouldn't be too pleased if the Machines were to suddenly become more powerful. So we expect heavy resistance from both groups. They only have a short time to free our prisoners, if they don't...well. We get our information, and the scientific data we're after.
That's where you come in.
Rules of Engagement:
Your targets are any Merovingian or Zion operatives within Downtown for the time specified. There may be the rare exception, but you will be contacted privately if that becomes an issue.
You will have a set time limit to kill as many reds as possible. In order for a kill to count, you must a) have a timestamp in your system chat, and b) have your team window up so members are listed. All screenshots for each team will be accounted for, and the leader of the team with the most proven kills will receive the prize money (so, yes, pick your leader well. Once the $ leaves our hands we don't care how it's divvied up).
Money will be determined as follows:
We start out with $100 million in the pool. For every prisoner that gets rescued, we have to pay out $20 million of it. If all prisoners have been freed at the end of our time limit, then it doesn't matter how many reds you killed, because our mission has failed and there's no money left to give out to you. If none of the prisoners have been freed then obviously there's a lot more left in the pool. It's possible that some of our...guests...may be released, while others aren't, with appropriate effects on the money reserved for our best support team. So it's in your best interest for us to keep control of as many of them as possible.
Our 'guests' are Orion1, Manatik, Insertion, and Strykre01....and we have to hold on to them until 4pm, EST. If you're up to it, you may just see something from this.
Yes. This is going on right now. Log in, make some money, and stick it to the reds at the same time

Lilith says:
Oh wow, did you hear about what happened between the mervs and machines? That's almost unbelievable, that Terminix would so blatantly draw the line like that.
Still, I can't help but think that this is a good opportunity for us. Apparently they have to pay out the reward to the person who frees a hostage, doesn't matter whether it's a merv or a zion. We could find them first and snatch that money right out from under their noses if we work it right, and keep the machines from gaining whatever information they're so eager for.
Or....hmmm, now that I think about it, maybe we should let the machines have them. How much more power can they get from torturing a few exile lovers? I've been getting tired of the mervs walking around like they own the matrix - perhaps it's time to put them in their place.
Rules of Engagement:
You have the opportunity to take advantage of either scenario: either try to rescue the Merovingians (same rules as for the mervs), or join in the pvp in the streets to promote as much discord as possible (same rules as machines).
The only thing is, each zion team may only choose to do one thing. If we receive any screenshots of zions attacking and killing mervs in the streets during this event (if the merv takes it then it needs to be with the system window open to that particular proof, of course, with timestamp, while the merv is either still fighting or dead), those zions and their teams are thereby disqualified from the rescue effort (however, if they attack inside buildings then it's all hush hush, isn't it? It is a race, after all). Also, if anyone from a zion team tries to rescue (or kill) the prisoners, their team will be booted from the pvp aspect as well. Easy enough to remember, yes? Figure out what you want to do and stick with it.
Enjoy your time, and choose wisely.
Success! Well, partial, anyway. Even though we lost most of our abductees to some self-proclaimed heroes, we were able to retain one of the merovingians long enough to extract a plethora of information from him. Our analysis of his knowledge will take time....but I'm sure we can use it to great benefit. It's just too bad we couldn't hold on to more of them.
The mervs and zions who tracked us down have our respect....we won't underestimate you next time. Hopefully we shall receive screenshots from the machines who were backing us up in the streets to allow us to give out the reward for keeping them off our backs...our appreciation for your help.
You must have turned up late, everyone moved downtown for the hunt, which was well fun. xD
Was a great event really enjoyable
