I know there was a trend a while back where users were putting their own images into what appeared to be monitors like the Architect has... I didn't pay much attention to it at the time, but a faction mate has come across a use for the effect.

Does anyone still have any of those old tutorials, or links to them if they are still around?  If not, can anyone post one here?  SMILEY

Somebody made a photoshop file of one of the monitors, but the screen itself was erased out so you'd just need to place the appropriate image under the initial layer.  Then you'd copy the whole thing and make it into a pattern, and use the pattern stamp tool to paint a whole mess of monitors.

I'm pretty sure I still have the file.  I'll throw it up here for download if I can find it.  Unless of course anyone else has it and can get to it before I do.  SMILEY

Ahem... I have no idea what you're talking about.  *cough cough*

Anywho, yeah, that would be the place.

That link isn't really what I was looking for.. I was more looking to get the monitor effect itself, not so much a wall of them.

Basically what I want is in Cervacious' sig  lol

A slight distortion from the glass of the monitor, the greenish tint, the scan lines, etc.  SMILEY

Let me look for a good one.  I saw someone's around here that I thought was the perfect size.  It's got pictures in it though so you'll have to go in and erase the picture to be able to put in a new one.

Edit:

*cough*

Hmm, I should get that looked at.
