it's probably the easiest problem to fix in the world but I can't find it,
my shift + ' is supposed to give @ but it gives "
my shift + 2 is supposed to give " but it gives @
I think Windows XP lost some marbles when Vista was created anyone know how to fix it?

Either switch the keys physically on the keyboard ^^ or check the language settings in Windows. Other than that I don't know what could cause the problem except for a defect in the keyboard.
shift + ' gives " and shift + 2 gives @ in the american keyboard layout
just set it to one of the european countries to have it switch over
i had the same Problem.. it used to do my head in. then i found the launguage settings
