Lot's of questions and answers are being seeked in regards to whether or not we should aide EPN as well as the current request from the machine to gain access to ZMF. We have made our own requests in return but sooner or later someone is going to bite the bullet and see where this is taking us. Will it be to something better or worse, only time and choices will confirm that.

The time to confirm answers from each side was always upon us. I will meet Ghost and help in any way I can.
I made my way to Ghost's location, he was there, ready as always.

Operative. We've received some reports indicating that the Machines have met recently with the Cypherites. Not surprisingly, our E Pluribus Neo contacts claim that they have been able to confirm these meetings. These reports are sketchy, but we need to be more alert than ever, especially after stirring the Cypherites up by attempting to access that Machine database they were watching.
EPN reports, as well as our own surveillance, have identified a Cypherite base near where Niobe is scheduled to meet with the Machines. I need you to neutralize those Cypherites, then join me at the conference. Tyndall will have the details for you.

I will take care of them Ghost, Cyperites neutralizing before a meeting? Thats my speciality!

Once I get to them Tyndall they won't know what hit them.
I made my way to the co-ordinates provided cautiously. Scans revelead several operatives in the building. After causing a distraction on one side of the building I was able to seperate the operatives and take them down fast.

After the Cyperites were neutralized I noticed a answering machine blinking, there seemed to be no messages on it, but the waiting message was certainly of interest.

The meeting location wasn't too far from from where I was, upon arriving I could see intense discussion was well underway.

I take it you are aware, Captain, that you have little choice in the matter. This truce will not survive if unmonitored threats continue to spawn from Zion's chaotic population. It is not logical that you should wish to cause the renewal of a war that you would surely lose.

I made my way around the meeting location, briefly takling with those present.

We continue to evaluate Zion's unmonitored populace and data as a credible threat. Possible terrorist ties to Zion's commanders will be investigated. They must not be allowed to continue to put the System at risk.

Damned if I'm going to let them worm their way out of this thing. They make a big deal out of their truthfulness, but they don't think twice about pulling manipulative bullcrap like this.

I know that these negotiations are tense, rossapillola, but I believe it is because both sides want very much to ensure a lasting peace.

We all want peace, but some are trying to push onto us more than they know they should.
The meeting was over, I updated Tyndall on what I monitored and heard.

Being upfront is always the best way and now we both know where we stand, they know we wont give them something of importance to us just because they think they need it. I will meeting with Niobe and update further.

Machines can't mess with us. They know they need us to balance out their flawed simulation. Way I see it, we should be the ones dictating the rules to them.

They know their system isn't perfect, they are blind if they think they can try to dicate everything to us.

It's good to see you, Aquatium. I know I took a risk in there, but we had to show them that we mean to hold them to the original terms of the Truce. It sounds like they have some idea about increasing their surveillance of Zion. We've got to start thinking about how we're going to prevent that, both now, and farther down the line. If they're going to maintain this aggressive attitude, we need to come up with a long term solution to preserve Zion.
I'm not sure that solution lies with E Pluribus Neo. They could be useful, but nothing comes for free. At least we've had a chance to get a better idea of what makes them tick.

We certainly need to be careful of the machines, they say they won't break the original Truce, but can you really trust a machine...they know they can destroy us fast if they wanted to, this arrogance shows me we can't.
Ghost
The Machines are scrupulously ruthless. They'll stick to the terms of the Truce, but they've "calculated" that Zion harbors a threat, and I don't expect them to change their minds about that any time soon.

They see us as a threat all the time, in their perfect world there would be no truce, but the continuation of their cycle of Zion. Let's hope they do keep to the Truce.

Yes, we know we need this Truce, but at the same time we can't let them try to use threats against us. It's times like this the Morpheus people spoke about in the past would be the one to give Zion the strength we need.
