I thought I'd better ask it here.
The time limit before the box and the attackers disappear is 25 minutes from the moment you activate it.
Now, can I be certain that I can let the bodies unlooted for so long, and not bother searching them before I get drawn in combat and losing time and health?
Or do their unlooted bodies disappear as quickly as standard gang corpses, which means, far less than 15 minutes?
PB boxes - how long do the bodies last?

I do believe they use the same timer once they get opened for all to loot.
When you first kill them they are on a "damage killed timer", then once they open for anyone to loot they hit the "anyone loot timer" and then go if not looted intime. I think they did stay around longer before, I really cant remember now. However you can see why this would be to avoid the lag issue of bodies staying around too long.

Are you really sure they can disappear before killing all three waves? Because that kind of sucks for me

And another question, is it actually realistic to solo the boxes 2-4, as a 50? The first one is already challenging enough, I've failed twice. Is there any sense at all in trying the following ones alone?
You can actually solo everything upto the very last pandora box, did it in cr1, I do it in CR2.
The problem is that in CR2 you get hit a lot more, so even with good defense/resistance you are likely to die if you fight them all headon, so you have to get a bit smart on how to fight them 1 by 1.
Yea Mob timers are the same. Don't quote on the pandora 100%, because Ive seen the dissapear like that, but I do also recall doing 3 waves then looting as well /scratchhead
I can get a pandora 3 and try it later, just to be sure.

I believe it's the same with any world mob aswell - only the one with the highest damage can loot it for a few minutes (or maybe including team members), and then it becomes available for everybody.

I'm not too sure on the timers but you can easily do a whole box and leave the dead NPC's till the end to loot even on a box 4, although if you run outta time on a box I think any dead NPC's left go aswell.
you should as a level 50 be able to solo 1 and 2 quite easily, 3 if your good and take a few health pills with you, and box 4 usually requires a team to do it the normal way but if you do it my way then you can solo it but you'll be very close to the time limit

No, the corpses stay after the alive ones and the box have disappeared.

Probably I just suck - or it's because I was level 48.
What's your way, by the way? If it's not a secret

As for the NPCs, they've always seemed to follow the same timeout rules as any other NPCs in my opinion...
What kind of places are these? Don't you get noticed by NPCs there, or something?

Well, only my Vector character is high enough, but I've noticed lag in Hampton on Vector aswell... however, Historic District is fine.

you can draw an NPC out one at a time, and fight em 1v1 without gettin yer *CENSORED* kicked, if yer a howitzer aswell then you can kill them all with the collective damage

How is that different in this case? Do you activate the box on the balcony, or below? And how do you draw them into 1v1 separately?
Well, last time I tried it from inside a building - they don't see you as long as you're hiding and regenerating, but once you show yourself, they all start shooting and hacking you, and if someone goes inside, all of them go inside.

yeh you activate it on a balcony, you open the door and IL one, the opponent is brought inside for you to kill 1 on 1
