Sure, there are parts of the story I think could have been told differently.  The "cheat codes" video game terminology actually bothered me more than the "laser pew pew".  Ultimately, I don't want to tell the story, I want to experience it.  Personally, I have lost interest in this part of the storyline, and that's the worst thing that can happen to a story.  I can see what Chadwick was trying to do with Anome, creating a villain people could sympathize with, like Cypher, but I just didn't connect.  Maybe it was because the story progressed too slowly (8 months was WAY too long for this thread), or because I was never on at the right time to meet the guy for Live Events, or because CloudWolf needs to explain the story to me (get to work m8 SMILEY ).  In any case, by the time chapter 5.3 rolled around, I stopped jacking in to find out what happens next.  I'm hoping 6.3 or 7.1 pulls me back in.

Then, we move on to the Anome/Unlimit storyline, with vials of code that appear to be, quite literally, cheat codes that grant the consumer unusual "powers".   I think I could've swallowed this concept a little more if there had been some sort of tie-in to Neo's evolution into the One, which granted him "superpowers".  Perhaps his RSI fragments couldv'e been a part of all that.

A lost opportunity.

An interesting thought.  During the Double Cross event, we learned that the the red-eyed agents continued to search for "potential Carriers", and they made their main base at Kalt Chemicals.  Were they searching for cheat codes?  Didn't Kalt create the codes?  Please catch me up if this conclusion has already been reached.

Unless I'm mistaken, the false Agents' goal was to take out those who carried the killcode Neurophyte found, which was programmed to destroy them.

And did Kalt actually create the vials?  They were Agent powers from an earlier version of the Matrix (in this live event, the Oracle says that this was before they brought her to the Matrix, so this most likely happened in a test Matrix).  They were sealed away in Kalt Chemicals because they were too overt and caused mass rejections of reality, and as I recall, that version had to be shut down due to this.   Seems to me that Kalt didn't create them, they were just placed there.  Unless Kalt is the Program that created them in the first place.

Edit: Ah, I re-read the critical mission transcripts.  Kalt did create them.

Searching for Neurophyte's killcode does make sense, especially in the context of the event, except that Neurophyte was alive on my server (maybe that's why I never saw them).  Plus, it appears the fake agents were kicked out of the Kalt towers by the players.  I'm a little rusty on the story, but one of the Sentinels said they are controlled by the General.  Do they serve a further purpose in the storyline, or does the General just pull them out anytime he's searching for code?

Apart from the Sentinel, some blogs and maybe the one or other mission text (like Caboclo messages or Cryptos' propaganda), you don't see anything pure from Chadwick in the game, only Chadwick material worked up by developers.
The LET has come up with lots of stories during Monolith (I think only for live events, thougth) - of which most aren't concluded because they left and didn't share their plans for some reason. As far as I know, it's pretty pointless to blame the Neurophyte gap on Chadwick.

So please explain me (when you like, of course), how exactly you can judge about Chad's writing abilities from the storyline you see written and played by mission designers.
If anything, look up MxO Resource - the Sentinels there are at your mercy. They're written by Chadwick purely.

Edit: Oh, looks like I've forgotten the cinematics. But still...

I would have preferred to stick with the main storyline from Chadwick.  It was confusing to have all these new characters and storylines that had little or nothing to do with the main plot, and it's unfortunate that they didn't leave notes on these.  At the same time, I think it is apparent that the LET was covering for the fact that the game was not ready for release.  While the devs were struggling to fix bugs, keep the servers running, and get out the next chapter of criticals, the LET stayed on schedule for the most part and gave us something to do.

As far as Chadwick, I don't care much for the new cinematics, but I think the Sentinels are jenius SMILEY.  Overall, I got no problems with the guy.

Possibly, but Kalt says "If Gray wants a replacement key, or more of what’s in that case, he knows where to reach me".  Which suggests that she can make more codes.
It could aswell mean that she simply has more codes or vials in storage apart from those in the case.

This definitely isn't answered in any Sentinel or mission?

Othinn's quote was the one I was referring to, which means Kalt can either make them or otherwise has access to them.  As you said, the latter would be more consistent with the Oracle said.
