No clue. It's whatever distancing system they have inplace so we don't land on something we can't normally jump on.

I assumed everyone still got it....

Yeah - it is a *CENSORED*. I usually get it when lag is high. It never went away though.

Ninja!

It happens a lot less than it use to but its still there.  Normally when theres lag as Ntrails mentioned.

it seems to happen the most often if your character is pushed up against a surface, such as a wall or a ledge or something solid, for some reason the game thinks you are not in a position to jump.

I've had this happen a few times recently myself, seems as if this bug has worked its self back into the matrix.

I don't see how this is a bug?

Seems to me like it only pops up when you're trying to jump in a way you're not allowed to.  For instance when you would land on an invalid surface, or when there's something blocking the way.  Keep in mind you need at least say a metre of clear space in front of you for most jumps.  If you pay attention to when and where you jump, you can avoid this sort of message entirely.  The only thing that bugs me is the phrasing.. I mean, a lot of our jumps are supposed to exceed the limits right?  It's what the game is all about SMILEY

I was in Sakura over the weekend and theres a raised platform or wall you can jump onto near where Tengu hangs out.  Simply running forward and jumping off of this wall would sometimes cause this message.  Since I was on a raised platform there is no wall in front of me and nothing but empty floor beneath me so there was definately nothing in my way preventing me from jumping down.

I think it has something to do with the server not being able to locate your character properly in the world.  Kind of like when you kill an npc and you cant get the loot window to open.  Doing a /jackout and then interrupting it by moving usually syncs the server with the client and allows you to loot the npc.

Wow this bug wont give up. I would be standing in the middle of nowhere and i try to jump (up) and it wouldnt let me. just a regular [space] jump.

EDIT: sorry ibrought this back but its doing it again today

LOL thats pure lag, it's when you've jacked into the matrix at a hardline and you've hit ctrl + space before the ability has had time to load itself.

Occurs at random moments in non-lag areas also.
