Welcome to the Vector Diathlon, where strength means just as much as your knowledge.

RULES

Day One (Trivia and Questions)
TIME: 2:00 PM PST
1. 1 team (max is 6 people) per faction.
2. $6 million info entry fee per faction.
3. Teams will answer Matrix or MxO based trivia questions and riddles worth different amounts of points. Points will be totaled at the end of the day.

SAMPLE QUESTIONS
Q. What is the location of this riddle? Instead of jumping, use the scaffold to get to this roof.
A. Metacortex

Q. Finish this quote. "With all due respect, Commander, there is only one way to ___ ___ ___."
A. Save our city.

Q. What district do the Crushers gang roam free in?
A. Gracy Heights

Day Two (Tournament)
TIME: 2:00 PM PST
1. One person will fight another person of an opposite faction per round.
2. Five rounds total.
3. $2 million info entry fee per person per round. This means the same person could fight all five times, but they would have to pay a total of $25 million info.
4. Winning a duel will result in one point being given to your faction.
5. Points will be totaled by faction at the end of the day.

Day Three (Results)
1. Results will be announced and winning faction will be presented with the entire pot. That's right...winner takes all!

TOURNAMENT RULES
1. No pills of any kind.
2. No Mobius Code.
3. No outside heals or buffs.
4. No Tiger Master's Gi.
5. Any build goes.
6. Use of the Master Shadow ability is allowed.
7. No leaving the dojo during your fight.
8. No exploits.

Your faction must compete in both events. To sign up, please post your faction name and leader in this thread. If you will be fighting in the tournament, please post your in-game character, faction, and number of times you will be fighting.

Further details:

Day One
Each question will have a weighted point attached to it, along with a timer.

1 point question - 10 seconds
2 point question - 15 seconds
3 point question - 20 seconds
4 point question - 25 seconds
5 point question - 30 seconds

Day Two
Depending on how many entries we have into the tournament, the point system will work like this...
For passing each round, you will get a point increased to your faction...

Round 1 - 1 point
Round 2 - 2 points
Round 3 - 3 points
Round 4 - 4 points
Semi-Finals - 5 points
Finals - 6 points

Oh man, I didn't notice that my poster said the 7th and the 8th.

The event is supposed to be scheduled for the 6th and the 7th; starting tomorrow. EEK!

Here's the plan: If enough people show up tomorrow, the event will continue as planned. If not, the event will be postponed until next weekend. Extremely sorry for the confusion.

Outstanding event Shadow, well planned and well ran. Definately a much needed change from the current ones, this was definately the best final i've seen too.

Very close ending there... props to xxxSMOKExxx for a good final fight, and to everyone who participated from SC, ML, and CoZ alike. I wish I had been there for Day One; this event was ran very smoothly and was very dramatic SMILEY

i don't think it went too badly for you guys i mean some of the fights were pretty close we featured in, i know my very first fight was down to the wire (mostly through lack of hyper block) and obviously there were others throughout the night which were down to the wire.

While I am not a big fan of SOTI during PVP, they generally have very good events. ShadowSK is alright. Just don't tell him I said so. I can't go off ruining my jerkface image. :)
