The "light pool" is the spotlight that hovers over your character at night so you can see where you are. Ever since the holiday patch my light pool has gone missing, as illustrated by the below screenshot. Is this happening to anyone else?

..is what I am using to make my game darker. (together with setting all the other greenshift colors to 0)
It gives days alot more contrast and makes nights alot darker.
I don't know if everyone would like it like this, but I haven't stopped using it since I found it. (though, I had to remove it at times during halloween to be able to take screenshots that showed more than just the brightest features onscreen)
Together with using a reduced radius of the light pool, it makes for a great and a bit darker feeling while playing the game.
oh I forgot to say, the new patch seem to override the useropts settings in this issue. intended or not...?
