I can see it, it's all around me; The corruption...the crumbling...the failure. Maybe it's my eyes playing tricks on me, I doubt it though...surely others can see it to? You can...can't you, you can feel it when you go there...you can feel it just by knowing you're a part of it. Have you noticed? Have you come to terms with it? The fact that all around you, beneath your very feet, everything is falling.
There are times when I feel like turning...making a complete change in the direction I'm already travelling. 'Thou shalt not give in to temptation' Hmph...Easier said than trying to keep to. The easy path is so close, so close you can feel the warmth of it welcoming you in...
But as we all know, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. As much is true also for choice, for every choice you can make, there is at least one other choice pulling you in the other direction. Funny...in a twisted kind of way, you want to make the choice that makes you happy, but you know that it won't make you happy; puts you in a stalemate kind of position. Hooray for choice I guess?
Still though...a decision must be made, no matter how long it takes. When that path makes itself available however, do we take advantage of it regardless? Do we run wild just to see what we can do? Or do we stick to the status quo and carry on leading our lives? Fate...Hah, now there's something for you to think about.
I'll leave you with that and you can make up your own thoughts on everything. Although isn't that what you do anyway...isn't it? Oooh heh.
