if any of you weaklings wonder why meros and machines are averaging 3 to 8 k cq while you morons are averaging 1 to 2 k cq this is why, lol. come to club sphinkx and practice some time. you might not have to resort to bugged out trees like mkt and zergs to get anything done.
Cool, My post was just to give you some props in reaching the 10k mark. Only thing was that I was over that before my account went on vacation back in Jan. But my reply was really to just congratulate you on your cq status. The cq system really don't matter to me in this game since you are not rewarded for it & its more of something to look it. Compared to another mmopg that gives rewards for cq, but I'm not here to talk about that. Thats another story so yeah Congrats glad to see it was a Merv though
CQ's = how many kills you have x how long u been in x the amount of time u been in a team x (by a little) how good a fighter u are
if u been ingame longer that means u have more CQ's, the amount of that time you've been in a PvP team will give you more CQ's and obviously in the times u get a 1v1 if yer better it will give u a slight increase in CQ's

I'v been in game a long time and I don't think I've hit 2k cqs...

not really. theres zions that have been around since beta that i more than double their cq's. i think its about how good you are...your style of play ( agressive or passive ) and the builds you feel more comfortable with.
simply put. if you have alot of cq then you kill more than you die. and if you have a little cq then you die more than you kill. this dosent include some people of course. i think illface has as many as me. maybe more. and hes a horrible player. he just knows how to use the zerg to his advantage and plays very agressivly. with that in mind...imagine how many times hes died. i think it wouild be cool if they listed the amount of kills you have as well as the amount of times youve died. that would give you a percentage of your effectiveness.
this is a serious rp thread about the matrix online. dont know where your getting the arguing part from. now shut up noob and come duel me
Sounds like a useless banter of a unsatisfied guy who died earlier today while I was PvPing... or did he run??
actually its the guy you interlocked soon as i logged in. so i rolled..went around the corner..put on my buffs and dodge and went back to find you hurried off to the zerg. k, thanks.
the main reason most zion average at 1-2k CQ's is because we have to actually fight to get it, I could interlock a red at mara c and 5 seconds later he'd have been sniped or summat and he'd get the CQ. which is why I prefer mara C to be red because I can snipe and kill somebody and get more CQ's than when mara c is blue. which is why when mara c is blue, if I'm not acting like I've had 3 cans of beer and have been sniffing glue or summat I'm out and about at the hardlines which are yellow looking for 1v1's
in fairness, i thought that the main zergers would have more. I was quite suprised.
read mindalaters quote. thats why they dont have any cq
i dunno, some of the more active ones still suprised me though i thought there'd be a lot more players with more cq's than me...than there actually was.
illface has alot. sajho says he has alot. not sure if he does or not. havent seen madbents. or if i have i dont remember. but im not really surprised at their cq's. zion has pretty much always been pathetic.
I really dont think CQs matter though, there are some who have very low CQs but undeniably still one of the best fighters on the server.
There are also some people with very high amounts of CQs but theres no denying that the person sucks.
Cqs count for something but not much which is why having a CQ chart implemented on the website is pointless and a waste of valuable time, however a series of duels and winning tournaments says much more about how good someone is e.g Madbent lower CQ count then Illface but undeniably one of the best.
This is fact and im gna support this all the way because i have a low CQ count lol. :p
Finally! Someone points out the obvious.
And anyway, who honestly cares how many CQ's someone has...? Its not like they can be put to good use.
This only highlights the fact that there needs to be some kind of incentive for PvP. Like a ranking/honour system.
This is probably why PvP didn't really ever have any pull for me. :/
I think items, or in-game ranks or something would kick *CENSORED* for CQ rewards... but there needs to be an honour system implemented to discourage ganking.
Yeah it goes hand-in-hand with being on the hostile server, but still... if you discourage killing lowbies, it makes the game more enjoyable for them... and more of a challenge to take on con greens+.
There really isn't a downside to implementing an honour system, unless you specifically went around looking for lowbie players to gank like old players like StaFF used to.

Pity was, he couldn't kill anything 10 levels below him as long as they had half a brain cell.
I thought he was hilarious. That dude hounded me all the way to 50 cos he powerlevelled/exploited his way there... then as soon as I hit 49/50, he couldn't hit me. Or anyone else for that matter. ><
But yeah, I think either no CQ, or maybe a 1 CQ penalty for killing someone 10+ levels below you.
I'd probably have it like this:
Honourable kill (within 10 levels) = +2CQ
Dishonourable kill (lower than 10 levels) = -1CQ
You could also maybe change the amount of CQ given depending on if someone was on a team etc.
And you know there has to be a leaderboard on the forums, and a way of displaying how many CQ you have in your forum postbit/profile.
