Anome is dead, killed by the machines. Ah, I really wanted a peice of that scumbag, what he did to Niobe, to all the bluepills and a agent gets to give him his moment of breath before removing him from the system. Oh well at least that is now over. They city was safe... for what worth that word gives for the moment, what to expect next, who knows.

The machines needed to destroy Anome but I wonder now this is all over what they plan to do next. It wasn't long before I found out, Tyndall was in contact, the machines wanted a meeting.

Aquatium
Ghost is a good operative for Zion, not everyone can be as smooth as.... me?

I made my way in and Ghost was there waiting for me.

Ghost
Thank you for coming, Aquatium.
It always worries me when the Machines want to talk; they have a habit of doing that just before they send in robots with claws and lasers. But that was probably before your time. It's...hard to forget.

I'm supposed to meet with a representative of theirs, to arrange a later meeting where Niobe will be present. "Protocol" demands that I have someone else get directions; I've chosen you.

Aquatium
Thank you Ghost, yes the machines have a certain way about them, lets see what they try to bring in with their so called Diplomacy. I will meet this representative and get the details.

Ghost
Diplomacy is a stratified hierarchy; I always imagine someone way up at the top, laughing.

Aquatium
No doubt.

Aquatium
I went to meet this machine liason to get the information that was needed.

Agent Johns
Ah, Mr. Unknown, welcome.
Ghost is prepared? Very well. He will be meeting with our liaison, Agent Pace. The coordinates will be sent to your operator.

Aquatium
Thank you, let's hope this meeting is worthwhile.

Agent Johns
I am...curious, Mr. Unknown. Do you feel a great attachment to this operative, Ghost? Surely a younger operative would be more efficient? Perhaps his retention is what is called "sentiment"?

Aquatium
Attachment? Ghost is a very good operative for Zion, its not sentiment its knowing we having a great soldier out there who will fight for Zion, remember that.

I made my way to the meeting location to make sure it was going fine, all on Tyndalls instructions, as I got there the meeting was well underway.

Agent Pace
Ah, it is very simple, officer Ghost. We merely request facilitated access to necessary information in the Zion mainframe. This will help us detect and eliminate any problems, such as we have seen with Anome, and E Pluribus Neo, for instance, much more efficiently, before they threaten the safety of all humans inside the simulation. We will be very happy to offer you our unparalleled data processing capabilities for this service.

Ghost
I'll...pass that request along, Agent. I'm sure that Niobe will have a succinct answer for your organization.

Aquatium
Well this looks to be going well, I made my way over to Ghost.
So they have made a request...

Ghost
Quite a "simple request," eh, operative?
Report back to Tyndall. I'll be in touch.

Aquatium
Will do, though this request... I don't like the sounds of it.

I went over to Pace.

Agent Pace
Saluti, Aquatium! We are pleased to be able to communicate so closely with Zion. Officer Ghost has been very helpful in arranging a meeting with Captain Niobe. This will be a wonderful opportunity for our organizations to work together much more efficiently.

Aquatium
It's good to see that, let's hope anything being asked is in both our interests and not just one groups.

Machine Despoiler
If Zion really wants peace in the Matrix, you'll consider her request very carefully. All the problems we've been having in the simulation come from a lack of security in Zion: Anome, the Kid, Veil, Cryptos... With proper access, the Machines can mine the necessary information out of the Zion mainframe, and identify potential problems even before they occur!

Zion Skript Kiddie
"Pace" is Italian for "peace." She doesn't look like much of a fighter, does she?

Aquatium
Who knows what needs to be done, the machines didn't do a great job with Smith now did they? and yes Pace does look...peaceful.

Aquatium
The meeting certianly brought up and interesting request. I went to Ghosts location for a debrief.

Meeting went fine I suppse in that regard Ghost..

Ghost
Yes, the meeting went fine. Thanks for your help, operative. It's just that... *CENSORED*. I don't see this working out very well. I don't think that the Council, or Lock, or Niobe are going to be interested in giving the Machines access to our mainframe. I know I wouldn't do it if it was up to me.

But I can't say that the Machines are wrong to blame us for Anome, either. That blasted little weasel... Even after he's dead, he's still causing trouble.

Aquatium
They can blame us for things and we can for them, but the truth is what needs to be done in the future. Pace seems to want to help.

Ghost
I'm...not comfortable dealing with Agent Pace. At least with the old Agents, you could dislike them just for looking like tax collectors; it made things so much easier.

Aquatium
Well we both know its just all code at the end of the day, and the machines use this program for a more... peaceful look to their organisation.

Aquatium
I hope whatever is done is in our interest, last thing we need is to be held to ransom by the machines. Keep me updated Tyndall on the Councils decision.
