I always supported this idea, and I still do.
Would be great to have it. Could be an expansion pack >_>

.....another sever merge would make it possible

there was originally 9 servers before this, they only merged them into 3 because of the lack of players. plus the fact that Vector is hostile making it impossible for all 3 servers merged into one because if it's hostile, the non-hostile world players will be unhappy, and if it isn't then the vectorites will be unhappy.

but but..i thought we were Always unhappy......SMILEY  J/K J/K....!!!

*lord i hate slow mondays...

and to the OP...great idea....COV has 'bases' for factions i would luv the devs to play that game for a day and get some great ideas

I'm up for anything at this point.  Things I could do without for a while would be new clothes for starters.  We've got enough to keep us occupied while bigger things could be done and tested.  Maybe just revamp the hideout drops to give subscribers insentive to actually enter a hideout.  After that, timeout on the clothes.  I don't even bother telling new players about the hideouts anymore.  Not much point.

In my opinion, we could also say bye-bye to things such as Halloween and Christmas events.  Not because I don't like them or appreciate the work put into them but this is the Matrix and it lacks Matrix content as we all know.  So how about putting a timeout on those as well so other more long term exciting, permanent content can be worked on and added to the Matrix?  Focus on live events and the story a little more maybe?  Use the rest of any time to work on new great content. . .and fix bugs etc of course.
