I have noticed that when you have a hit- hit ending animation and bullettime then is looks like the old times. The problem is it's ONLY then and now with the full finisher. Can it be adjusted?

Really?

O RLY?

Nah, kidding.

Aikido bullet time (the finishers, since the abilities don't have bullet time) works properly all the time, as far as I've seen. Self Defense apparently aswell.
In Karate and Kung Fu, bullet time sometimes works properly in hit/hit finishers, but not always. In hit/miss rounds probably never, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I've noticed the same thing.  On hit/hit the bullettime works right for me most of the time.  On hit/miss, however, I almost never get the bullettime at the right point of the move (it usually kicks in after the final hit while the target is falling to the ground).

There's one working bullet time that I just L-O-V-E.

It's a single handgun finisher, and sometimes it does 2 bullet times in that animation. The 2nd one is when the player gets on one hand and shoots.

Yeah, I love that one as well. It's speed tactic right?

Noting on this, on some of my bullet time finishers, my bullet trails go a totally opposite direction then the direction I'm shooting at. Looks really weird, you know? But for most of my ab BT finishes, they seem to work correctly.

Off topic: Maybe someone can explain why when you hit a target, you still get bullet holes in the walls in random locations, like behind myself(when my opponent isn't even shooting at me).

you ever fired a gun before, if you shoot at somebody the bullet usually pentrates and comes out the other side

Just because I'm new to the forums doesn't mean I don't know simple firearms ballistics; it would make sense if you were to shoot someone in the front, and the bullet to exit from their back. But if you carefully read what I said insted of trying to look smart, you would have seen that I said I shoot their front, and insted of the bullet hitting the wall behind them, it hits the wall behind me(when they're NOT shooting at me).

1) I was not trying to look smart I was desperately trying to raise my post count

2) ever since this game came out the bullets can go very random, if you bullet time while shooting guns the bullet trails go pretty much everywhere which is why the bullet holes can appear at random.

Hypereia, it's a bug. Or a programming/design demerit, if you will. It's been here since launch and hasn't been looked at since then. Simple as that :)

And oh, this isn't the right thread. Let's move this to Roukan's "bullet trails" -- this thread is about bullet time timing.

Indeed I would like to address the bullet time animation probably in this order.

  • Abilities
  • Finishing Moves
  • Normal attacks

However I have seemed to have missplaced my animator... <looks around quizically>

There is no time line for this but we know it needs to be done.

I don't remember Bullet Time in normal attacks... but that would rock! It would also be nice if slow motion activated randomly and more often for abilities instead of only the first time after jacking in.

Huh, I get bullet time at least 1time I go into interlock, (maybe as im MA mainly and I spend most of my time in it)

Yesturday, I recall getting bullettime on every special I did inside interlock in a duel (and no i didn't change my useropts)

#36300087806 11/03/2006 06:32:06 Re:When bullettime goes right!
Maybe it's different in PvP. I know that apart from Guard Breaker, Cheap Shot, Head Butt and Body Shot, every MA (and item) attack with bullet time only slows down the first time you use it. Moves like Extreme Falling Kick or Wooden Stake have two different animations, so you can get the Bullet Time twice.
#36300123330 12/18/2006 15:43:40 Re:When bullettime goes right!
Bullet-time in general only seems to occur at the very end of the battle. I wish more abilities triggered bullet-time.
#36300210672 04/10/2007 22:42:36 Re:When bullettime goes right!
And there is the bullet time when you do a regular jump off a high enough building.
#36300210674 04/10/2007 22:48:29 Re:When bullettime goes right!
I just used the .cfg to make every round of interlock be bullet time.
#36300210767 04/11/2007 04:21:24 Re:When bullettime goes right!
How do you do that,

and doesn't that give you a huge disadvantage when fighting multiple enemies?
#36300210770 04/11/2007 04:24:38 Re:When bullettime goes right!
Not really, combat rounds are the same amount of time either way

I did that but I couldn't control the camera anymore and I hate fighting multiple people without being able to keep track of my surroundings.
If it's possible to have bullettime & camera control then I'd like to know how to do that, 'cause bullettime is teh pwn.
