Operatives,

Having achieved no positive result with kill codes based on secondary sources, it was determined that in order to compile a kill code effective against Anome, it would be necessary to begin with a sample of his own mutated code structure. This sample would have to be gathered from him by hand.

Having learned from certain sources that Anome might be meeting with an old and indiscreet business associate of his, we alerted liaison officers Cross and Systematica, who briefed a group of assembled operatives. The operatives searched the city and quickly located Anome's business partner, the Exile known as "The Jeweler."

Anome was soon found nearby, and operatives began attempting to goad him into 1-on-1 battles. Although Anome reacted violently to certain remarks by operatives, he did not enter into hand-to-hand combat readily, and when he did, he proved to be such a powerful opponent that the first two operatives to engage him were unable to strike him. Finally, however, operative reaper2u succeeded in getting a code sample from Anome's RSI, and Anome, apparently piqued at being struck, quickly departed, covering his retreat with large numbers of Unlimit soldiers, which were dispatched by operatives in a coordinated effort.

Thanks to the success of this operation, manufacture of an Anome kill-code is currently underway.

Efficiently,

Agent Gray

Why does Agent Gray always come at the last minute? He could of owned Anome in 2 seconds...or 3 SMILEY

I guess that's so participating players have more fun SMILEYSMILEY

I agree, it looks like the Machines solely rely on human operatives -- Agents are mainly used for briefings/commendations or keeping redpills in bounds. Seeing as how Agents are much more powerful than humans, though, it would be more than suggesting to use them in crucial combat actions like these, instead of relying on weak humans. Those still have a use for "lower" tasks such as in the crits, right?

Not like Agents weren't used at all... and maybe this matter didn't require it since it was about collecting an RSI sample (gotta go through the screenshots once more a bit more carefully). But generally, there've been quite a few situations where they could've spawned a dozen of 255 Agents or something for fighting and chasing.

Gray isn't suited for combat, since the whole Smith thing. Heck, you saw what happened to those Zionites that time. SMILEY

Did Tekri's attack not result in a tissue sample because a Grab attack was specifically required?

But Gray combatted the Unlimits in this event, as he did participate in battles in many previous cases. Also, they still could've spawned other Agents...
