Choices and Consequences

Standing at Tabor West, ChloeAnn was enjoying herself in a little dance with Caillech. After a couple of minutes, she received a message from a Book Keeper. "All Merovingians, make your way to Club Sanguine in Moriah Projects." Chloe looked at Caillech, and made her way there. She went to Moriah Projects East, and headed towards the club. Once there, she went down the stairs to meet The book keepers, Atem, Hacon, Carry, Devistate, Caillech, and Akilina. They all stood gathered around the Book Keeper to find out what was going on.

"I have asked you all here for a reason. The Frenchmen has asked that I give the 7 of you a mission. He has asked for ChloeAnn to be the leader of this." The Book Keeper walked over to Chloe, and handed her a file. As Chloe looked throught the file, The Book Keeper took a few steps back. "You will gather your team, and start immediatly." Chloe looked up at all the people standing around her.

"Uhhh... I'll stay here." Atem said, steppig out of the circle. "Atem! You have to come with me.." Chloe said, walking up to him. He refused, so she gave him a hug and whispered in his ear, as he slipped a phone into her pocket. "If anything happens to me, Atem, your going to get it!" She pulled away and started the mission, followed by the rest of her team. The first few sets were easy, then all of a sudden, tons of Unlimited showed up. This was the best teamwork she had seen in a long time. Everyone was working together, and helping one another so noone got hurt too bad. Eventually, they had got rid of all the enemies, and was told to go meet an Unlimit named Gerian. Once there, Chloe was given a vial. Looking at it, she put it in her coat pocket and called out to the others.

"Hey guys.. Im not feeling so good, Ive got a cramp in my leg.. you guys go ahead without me." The team walked out of the elevator, and Hacon, caillech, and Carry was all hesitant to leave. "Chloe, Im not leaving you if you are hurt." Caillech said, followed by Hacon, "yeah, you shouldnt be alone. " Chloe smiled and leaned against the wall. "Its alright guys, just go, I'll catch up." Hacon sighed and him and Caillech ran off to go to the next Mission area. Once everyone was out of the area, Chloe walked in the middle of the room and pulled out the phone Atem had placed in her pocket. She picked it up and made a call. "Atem, Ive got the vials. Yes, it looks like its the real thing. Yes atem, Its safe in my pocket. Wait, Atem, Someones here, I gotta go." Chloe hung up the phone and turned around to see Beachhead exiting out of the elevator, approaching her.

"The vial. Give it to me. You must comply." Beachhead had gotten closer to her, and she started to get nervous. "Uhh... no. Im not giving them to you." She backed up against the door, easing her hand on the knob. "You must comply." He said over and over, and her answer was still the same. All of a sudden, she opened the door and took off running. Looking behind her, she realized that Beachhead was on her tail, not giving up on trying to get them. She ran into a fence, and turned around and started to fight him. He was strong. Very strong. She couldn't get a move in, and he was hitting her left and right. Finally he took her down, and stood over her limp body. "The vial. Give it to me." She took the vial in her hands and glared at him. "No!" She said as loud as she could. She unscrewed the lid on the vial, and gulped it down. Beachhead looked at her and sighed. "figures..." He said.

Within minutes, Atem, Pyraci, and her teammates came running. Beachhead took off running, and Chloe began to cough. She got up to her feet, as everyone approached her. "Chloe! What happened?!" Everyone was saying at once, Chloe couldn't stand the pain, so it was hard for her to concentrate.

"Beachhead he... he wanted the vials.."

Atem stood infront of her and replied, "he didnt get them did he?!"

"No... I drunk them..." Chloe coughed.

"Chloe! What have I told you? I told you I didnt want you to be the lab rat!" Atem yelled at her and backed up some.

"She did want to be it.. I guess she got her wish." Caillech replied back as she looked at Atem.

Chloe didn't really catch everything that was being said. All she remembers was her telling them not to kill Atem just yet.. then she noticed Pyraci going after Atem. He had fallen, and She walked up to atem and looked down at him, "How does it feel? At least you'll be able to jack out of this place, while Im stuck in here!" She said. She was disgusted with the feeling she had towards him. He had used her. He came to her when she was down, and he took advantage of that. She turned to Pyraci and sighed, "Get me out of here." she told him.

ChloeAnn and MU5E had been in Camon heights church for quite some time, discussing things that had happened in the recent events. Chloe was trying her best to explain to her teenage daughter her reasons for the things she did, trying to make sense of it all. After they had talked, they were actually getting along. messing around, playing in the dark, reading books.. after a while, they had decided to leave. As soon as they turned to go towards the door, Beachhead and the rest of his group came in and Chloe stopped in her steps, as MU5E backed up a bit behind her mother.

"Uh, We were just on our way out." Chloe said, and she took a step towards them. "I bet," Said Beachhead. "Ms. Johnson, we know of your current situation, and we would like for you to come with us." MU5E stood infront of her mother, in an aggresive state. "NO!" She shouted. Nicho and Beachhead cut her a look, and Pyraci walked in and stood beside her and Chloe. "Ms. Reno, take a seat."

"NO! You're not taking my mother!" MU5E screamed again. "Listen to the man." Nicho said, cutting Chloe and MU5E a look. "MU5E, its okay, just take a seat." Pyraci said, and then MU5e took a seat, right infront of her mother. "In the chair." Beachhead pointed to the chair behind him. "I don't take orders from you!" MU5E got up and stood behind her mom and dad.

"Ms. Johnson, You know why we are here. You have acquired cheatcodes that are unsafe for you and this system. We are here to help you get them out. Hmm.. lets see." Beachhead came closer to Chloe and began to examine her. "Wanna back off?" she said. "We would like for you and Mr. Reno to come with us." Beachhead said while backing off, standing back with his group. "No! your not taking my mother!" MU5E yelled again. Pyraci said, not taking his eyes off of Beachhead, "It's alright, shortcake, she'll be alright." MU5E started sniffing, and went to the corner and sat.

Beachhead started walking, then his group followed. Pyraci went, the Nicho and Ballet stayed behind and waited for Chloe. "after you," Nicho said, pointing the way. Chloe started walking and smiled, "looks like you guys got some style. Looks nice. Ah.. looks like the girls hasn't. You should really have us style you..." Nicho frowns, and stood behind Chloe, telling her to move along. "Fine fine, don't get your panties in a wad, Im going." Chloe and Pyraci followed the group to a near by building. They went inside, and went down a few flights of stairs, then went up a flight of stairs, and walked into a room filled with all sorts of machines. Chloe looks around, and started to get scared thinking about what was going to happen.

"Have a seat." Beachhead pointed to the ground. Chloe stood where he pointed and scoffed. "What, on the floor? It's dirty!" Pyraci turned to her and said softly, "Chloe please.. just have a seat." Chloe sighed and sat on the floor and crossed her legs. She looks around as Beachhead and a girl started to fiddle with the machines. Beachhead pulled out a weird looking thing and turned to chloe. "You're not gabbing me with that, get away from me!!" Nicho bent down to chloe and grinned. "I can hold her if I need to." Chloe jerked away from him and said harshly, "You touch me, and I'll kick your *CENSORED*." Beachhead jabbed the thing into chloe's neck and replied, "not necessary."

Chloe put her hand over her neck and frowned. After Beachhead had gotten up with the code, Pyraci had knelt down beside Chloe to try and calm her down. Beachhead asked how she was feeling, but she didn't answer. She stared at the ground, and didn't say a word. A short time after that, Beachhead went to her otherside, and on the computers over there, he took a long cable with a needle on the end. Chloe jumped back and started to scream, "No! No needles!!!! You're not jabbing me with that, you bastard! Get away from me!" Pyraci touched Chloe's shoulder and tried to calm her down. "shhh, It'll be okay. Just relax."

"Relax?! You're not the one getting jabbeed in the neck with a needle!" Chloe yelled in horror. Beachhead leaned down and quickly stuck the needle in the side of Chloe's and had pulled it out before she could get away from it. She screams again, and put her hand on the side of her neck and bit her lower lip. She could hear Nicho whispering to MysticTravi in the background. "It's a shame she had to take the vials." Chloe looked back at them and started to yell, "I didnt choose to take them! If your leader over here wouldnt have attacked me and tried to kill me, I wouldnt had to take them!"

Beachhead went to the cabinet and got a pill out of the drawer, and bent down to Chloe and reached it to her, "here. Take this, it will make you feel better." Chloe looked up at him and said,. "How about you take it and shove it up your *CENSORED*." Beachhead stood up and shruged, "Your choice, Be in pain, its not like I care." Beachhead walked over to Pyraci, and he got up and turned to him. "Give this to her when she comes to her senses. Its a simple pain pill. We are done here. Let's go." Beachhead and his gang walked out. MysticTravi looked at Chloe and she could read the words come from his mouth. "Im sorry." She said nothing, but turn back around. Pyraci extended his hand to Chloe, and she took it and slowly got up. She noticed that Silhouette had been in sneak the whole time. She hugged her and smiled.

"Now that that's done with... we need to get you back to the ship, make sure everything is alright." Pyraci said, and they went to Camen Heights central, and met back up with MU5E, who was still crying. She came up to her mother and hugged her and sniffed. Chloe explained to her that she was alright and turned back to Pyraci and smiled at him before picking up the phone. "See you back on the ship, Chloe." Pyraci looked at her and smiled, letting go of her hand.

Chloe picked up the phone, and opened her eyes. Riot was behind her unhooking her jack from the back of her head, followed by Pyraci and MU5E. Chloe hadn't moved in weeks. She was weak, and found it very hard to lift herself up. She stared up at the ceiling and tears started to fill her eyes. She was back home, she was safe. Pyraci and MU5E walked over to her, one on each side. MU5E took her moms hand, which has an IV in one of her arms, and Pyraci wiped the tears coming from Chloe's eyes. "You're home with us now, sweetie. You're going to be just fine. You need your rest. Let me help you to the bed." MU5E had unhooked Chloe's IV, and wiped the tears coming from her own eyes. Pyraci lifted Chloe up in his arms, and carried her to his bed, and pulled the covers over her. He smiled lightly and began to get up. Chloe grabbed his hand and coughed, speaking softly, "Sit with me.. there's so much I need to say.." Chloe coughed again, and Pyraci took her hand, and sat at the edge of the bed, and looked at her. "There's plenty of time for that, You need to get your rest. We will speak in the morning, I'll be here when you wake up, Im not going anywhere." Chloe smiled and closed her eyes. Falling fast asleep.

Hours went past, and Chloe opened her eyes again. She saw Pyraci to her left, and she smiled. She wiggled her feet, which were able to move now, and she kicked something. She looked down, and saw MU5E curled into a ball at the end of her and Pyraci's feet. She grunted as she pulled herself up into a sitting position. Seconds later, Pyraci jump up obviously startled, and MU5E whined as Pyraci kicked her. 'Sorry, sugarplum, I thought I heard.. ' Pyraci ended his sentence, as he turned around and saw Chloe sitting up. 'You shouldn't be sitting up, Chloe.' Chloe grinned and poked Pyraci and giggled, 'I'll be okay. I need to walk around a bit, but first I need to talk to you both. I'm sorry about everything. If I could go back, and change the things I've done, then I would.. we're a family. We've got to stick together, and thats what I plan to do, If you two still want me...' Pyraci took Chloe's and his daughter's hand, while Chloe also took MU5E's hand. All three sat there and smiled at eachother, glad to be alive and hoping things would get better from here on out.
