The young woman woke up in the darkness of a full moon. Laying down on a bed she did not know she looked up the ceiling of the old run down apartment building. Corroded and rotting, you would think a place like this be condemned.
How did I get here...
She asked herself, no answer. There was no sound around her. No distant cars running by, no televisions on in the next room. Not even the slight tap of foot steps on the street below. Nothing.
She took another moment to look around the room she had never seen before. It was dark, but she could see it all fine. Her attention was brought back to the window by the side of the bed, a full moon stared down at her from the black sky above. It was almost impossible to see through the layers of smog and clouds in the night sky.
She tried to remember how she had gotten here, but she realized something was wrong.
