No, but comon they can only live on The Matrix franchise for so long, they moved on to other stuff.
He might aswell still discuss further development with him regularly.
We know they were pretty vocal when the game was in development and their influence on the "first year"'s outline was high. Now, was that just a beginning of their cooperation with Chadwick, which they wanted to continue? Or did they scrap their plans because the game didn't turn out as they had imagined?
Or did they just want to have their plans released in the "first year", and actually pass their franchise over to other writers from that on?
Really, I can't know, and you can't aswell, until we hear any official statement about that. In a live interview during that SOE block party (around 5.2), Chadwick said "The Wachowskis don't kill of characters to bring them back right away".
Now, with all the ambiguousity of this sentence, the present time he used, in fact, makes the impression that they haven't ceased contact with this game, or its storyline at least.
But seriously, we don't know.
